So, we incarnate and choose ignorance, but then we can accidentally go out of body to relearn that we aren't the body, and that knowledge is the great work? Why would we choose to forget our true self in the first place? I ask this having had a profound NDE, sleep paralysis, visitations, etc. I can't achieve these out of body states willingly, but I know for a fact it is a thing. It's just frustrating because I haven't learned anything useful in my own experiences. When I gain consciousness out of body, the other beings leave. They never interact or say anything.

Darius helped me understand that my experiences are sleep paralysis episodes. I’m usually sleeping and become alert at the moment I am pulling away (but I do not physically wake up) and I struggle to not detach and I always get scared. I do feel like I am dying, but getting to the point to try letting go.
