Rockstar horrifically messed up the survival missions; In the early days, you could do those missions solo and make fairly good progress, but eventually they made those survival missions so hard, that even if you got a full 4-man crew with high ranked levels, those survival missions are now brutally difficult

In the past, there was less content and the best way to make money was contact missions but there was a sense of progression from lvl 1 to 100. The prices were less inflated and players were different, the playerbase wasn't divided, we played for fun. Now it is money grind or grief I started playimg December 2014 on the PS3

I like to point that the cluckin bell raid and first dose missions give new players a massive advantage starting out compared to before them. A passive business for free and $500k every playthrough without starting cash or a property is amazing.

I remember when my dad bought me and my brother GTA V on release day in 2013, out Xbox didn't have an internal hard drive so he also bought USBs to install the games. Back then there were no heists and all the guns and cars were only those already in Story mode.

I don’t think the old gta online was necessarily BETTER, rather it was that many aspects of online were better, not the mode entirely

I still have a bit of stuff to do for the first time. Chop shop and bottom dollar bounties. I have not purchased those businesses yet for obvious reasons. I also have not done the casino heist because I can’t do it solo. I pretty much never buy a DLC business on day 1. I always wait a while so I don’t blow through everything at once.

in old gta o PLAYERS were nicer, game was barren, today everyone sucks and content to play solo is endless, 2024 idea of "multiplayer" is invite only grind of endless variety of businesses to combat inflation, im still addicted to business grind sitting on 93 million at the moment!

5:14 GTA V was meant to have Franklin killed and replaced by Lamar in ending c, so that would probably have still make for a sad ending.

Maybe he wanted to see if it was truly personal to Franklin or not. . Upon seeing Franklin (and the player) regret their choice; he chose to willingly complete the mission for Franklin for he assumed the mission was forced onto Franklin, gun to the head style.

people who pay for gta online are the reason GTA's went from pumped out every year, to coming out every other decade. Consoles come out faster than this game now because they know suckers will pay for low effort digital goods. youve ruined the gaming industry
