This 3-hour project revolves around the concept of adding a terrain-coaster feel to a ride that sits on level ground. Following no individual manufacturer's style, I had a nice time playing around with limited elevation changes in favor of combining a variety of turns to still create a thrilling ride experience that enhances the riders' sense of speed.

For this speed build, I used FVD to make the layout, and the only real parameters I imposed were that the ride needed a few authentic camelback hills, a unique turnaround element, and multiple off-axis airtime moments that differed from each other. Good tutorial! I use a different way to get the b&m shape by turning the time from positives to negatives to .4 seconds and then just increase the positive g times. I don't know how the zero g roll would differ if I used my way.

I would appreciate an explanation on how it was made that there is no motor on the bottom, since a real risk with swerve drives is wire entanglement. I’m trying to observe from the video, but I can’t really find any moments where the details are visible
A coaxial drive shaft was ran through the pivots into each wheel cage, then a series of bevel gears were used to transmit the drive power. Maybe this will help: czcams.com/video/6RpEsX6xEOE/video.html
@@JackScalise aight. I already figured out how to do it myself though. Just use a circle insert on the gear that is over wheel and then run an axle through that gear as you connect it to the wheel housing with screws instead, then use bevel gears to convert the motion of 5e driving motor to the side. Just had to put my ol noggin to work real quick lol.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't think of any other coasters with that tall outer bank to a zero g dive roll..
@@ridewithjasonhorvath Yeah, my first element defenitely has some striking similarities to that of Thorpe's new project. I know I've seen some outer-bank wave turns exiting with a roll on NL2, but not many vertically stretched quite like mine or Thorpes. These coincidences make for good fun, as always!
