So mine radomly made a loud pop noise and dropped a bunch of transmission fluid on the ground while driving. We cannot find the leak. but its dripping on the muffler passenger side when the engine is on. replaced the seal on the axel and its not that.

Clean and fix first. Then decide.

Easier method is to remove the elec fan. Remove the lower hose end from the rad. Disconnect the coolant hose from the connection before the thermostat housing. This method allows you to unbolt the housing with the hoses still on it so you can remove them on the bench.

I wouldn't touch OEM control arms personally, and for sure if it's lifted at all; Like it or not, I see that it is. "Jeep'n By Al" makes great A-arms with Moog serviceable joints for either lifted or not, and you WILL be working on those joints again. So why do the A-arm each time? I did this 4 times on an '02 pre-lift before the recall just as you're saying here now, and the front end fell off leaving the dealership and entering the freeway to go to court for obstructing traffic because my front end fell off prior! Yes, it is easy to do this yourself but you won't save any money on these things without fixing Diamler-Chrysler engineering flaws with the same flaws. Look at the recall list of fixes and tell me it's because of heatshields and not the design of the Arm itself. install heatshields. From the wheel!? If my wheels and tires give off heat and can fail a ball joint, boy I tell you what, I should be driving F1 in that Liberty. (the recall installs heatshields over the balljoint facing the wheel and tire). Passenger side front transaxle also needs a Pink c-clip to retain the axle itself. They oddly wear out and cause clunking or grinding, doesn't come with the OEM axle and usually gone so you don't think there was one. This era of Liberty is trash until you fix the front end with proper geometry and those suggested A-arms are a fix.

Still clunking. Jack it up with the wheel on n wiggle it in and out to see if it could be the hub check steering rack lower control arm and ball joint even the strut could cause it. Iv got similar issues every now n then with expedition just haven't messed with it lately

It's amazing how easy some of these jobs actually are and how much the shops charge to do it. When I did my mobile mechanic work I'd get quote on the job from dealership and at least 2 other shops and then give a jobe quote usually about a half the price of the lowest shop price and I'd be surprised still how many people though some of the work was too much n had someone else that could do it cheaper.

I need to do this aoon but your explanation skills could be a bit better 😂 hard to know what bolts your removing when your not telling us what part your working on ( the video very small on a phone ). Kinda looks like a guy stinking his hands in an engine bay 😂. I would love to see a nice step by step or what the repair manual says. Got p0128 on the car im working on.
