Does this have enough power, with the speedo at 140 tops maybe 80-90 os pushing it..coming from a FZ1 whereit does 80 in first gear. I wanna slow down but NOT SLOOOOW down
well I mean, I wrecked it about a month ago when a Tesla Decided they were going to be where I was... but it'll do 115 and have about half of top gear left before ypu run a flash on it, I can tell you that...
Hey so I picked up a basically Brand new 2016 Yamaha stryker and I love it. I'm upgrading the stock exhaust with a Vanes and Hines Twin Slash Starraged Exhaust. I was wondering if I need a tune or something after installing the exhaust and if I do, what do I need. I need this done asap, because there's a big ride happening in my city and I need to be there with my bike, I'm their main photographer. I'm in canada BC by the way. Thanks.
Look into Ivan's Flash. If you are going to open the airflow, the bike starts to run a smidge lean, pops hard on decel and get a little herky jerky on the throttle due to the power it makes and the fuel cut on decel; his reflash will take care of all of that and make the bike what it is supposed to be.

What I noticed about this make and model and had came to my attention is one thing primarily, its a Parallel V-Twin. This means smooth powerfull delivery.
There is a better way to get it out instead of wasting four days you can put together a slingshot that I saw on someone else’s video
Loving the build, first off. But in the future Get a cheap new oil can (brake fluid eats the seals after a few months sometimes), that fits your tube, fill with brake fluid, and put that on the end you have your tongue on and backwards bleed. Way easier, I have the same bike. Same for you clutch. Also if you at least hung your tube up and sacked it would have dribbled fluid to bottom above bleed nipple, just a thought
Oh yeah ! The legendary Stryker... EDIT : I love that you also own a Suzuki Intruder because just like Fender, they created the Pbass, but MIJ brands perfected it. Jap bikes all the way !
I had a Yamaha Star 650 as my first bike sold it a couple years ago, Im 5'6", 145lbs...I like the Stryker, do you think is too much bike for me?

Lol in fact, I do still exist. Just finished moving to LA, So I'm slowly coming back to life again. Videos will start back up... eventually XD. and being in LA now, that's probably the biggest quad I'm going to be able to break out from here on out. I remember enough about that build that I *might* be able to find it buried somewhere in my emails; it was a heck of a search to find it in the first place, if I remember correctly. Lemmie see what I can dig up and I'll get back to you on it.
Bad news is, It looks like i got them off shapeways, and it no longer exists. Don’t know much about motors, or motorcycles for that matter but my grandfathers old bike has been sitting in our garage for years so I’m going to attempt to refurbish it. This really helped! Thank you :D
Hopefully it's working out well for you! If you're mechanically inclined, you will probably find a way to make it work -- CZcams and forums most likely have all the info you'll need (though a manual would probably be nice too!)

The roadliner is the huge on 113 cube not 80 , this is mid-sized

If that is a manual transmission which it apears to be, that would be gear oil not atf which is what I meant. Whatever it was it was pretty dang clean!

I have a 1989 Yamaha 1300 like that, i’m tippy toying as well. My air controls have an error message and do not work, So now I’m wondering if I can let the air out of the rear to make the bike shorter

Well dang was hoping to see you finish the build. I believe I am going to do a venture bobber build. Was thinking of doing a gold wing but Honda no longer stocks or only offers one size of crank bearings or rod bearings (1000 -1200) so you could not rebuild the engine If needed. Where Yamaha still offers them.
To much work, all you need is a good home made potato gun and strong string/ small rope. Shot the string over the limbs with the potato gun, grab both ends of string and shake limbs. Good potato gun will give you over200 ft. Range. I have save my drone over 60 fthigh, 4 or5time.
I can't carry a potato gun in my bag.

How are the Vance & Nine exhausts? Do you think they are to loud or just sound good? I am looking at a stryker with those exhausts
They are Juuust right. Loud enough to make you want to wear earplugs, but just squeaking under noise ordinances in all 50 states. nice and deep and throaty.

Should be pretty sweet! The venture is basically just a VMax with a ton of extra touring garbage slapped on so… could call this the poor man’s VMax…
That was the idea, Till i got the Ultimatum from the wife... It's all good though, I got myself a nice Stryker out of it.
Hey Loy, what did you sue the capture the audio when you run out to the bike? That sound of the V&H is like music to my ears. I just got my 15' Stryker Bullet and debating on either the Cobra slip on or the full twin stag like yours.
That was nothing but my regular G7x mk 3 camera mic. Nothing special, it just sounds that good :) V&H just has that deep bark that sounds SO good, I highly recommend these pipes.
Hello, where can i find a pair of ramps like yours? Ive been looking for a set. But majority I've found are plastic and I'm kind of leery of using plastic to hold a vehicle
I found mine at Harbor Freight tools. They are plastic as well, but built very solidly.
@@Loyventures Thanks. I forgot about Harbor Freight! I'll have to check. I have a 2004 GT V6 and its been atleast 7-8 years (its a 2nd vehicle that doesnt get driven that often) since i've had the transmission fluid changed. I was considering changing it within a few months. Thanks for the video!
