Almost going over on Hell's Revenge!
This is our Thanksgiving run of Hell's Revenge trail in Moab, Utah. We had a great time and ran the optional Hell's Gate obstacle. A little bit of miscommunication nearly caused a roll over...

How Difficult is Fins n Things?
zhlédnutí 393Před 3 lety
The fourth installment of our Moab, UT trip. We take on Fins n Things trail, which is a relatively easy trail but is very psychologically challenging with it's narrow fins, steep climbs, descents, and awkward off camber paths. I am sure that most vehicles can make it, but can the drivers and passengers?
(Part of) Moab Rim on 30's!
zhlédnutí 637Před 3 lety
On our second day in Moab, Utah we took on Moab Rim trail in our little Jeeps. My Wrangler has a 2.5 in Lift with 30x9.5x15 tire and lockers front and rear. My brother's Cherokee has a 4 in lift with 33x10.5x15 tires and lockers. Due to the high level of fear and the amount of time it was taking we turned around at the Z-turn (I was not happy). I think we could have completed the whole trail, b...

The Drive to Moab, UT
zhlédnutí 128Před 3 lety
Driving a freshly rebuilt 1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer halfway across the US with a nearly decade newer Jeep Wrangler in tow, what could go wrong? SPOILER ALERT! A broken driveshaft, a failing efi throttle body, removing the Wrangler from the tow dolly, broken heater core, and a second bad driveshaft! That's what goes wrong on our trip to Moab, Utah.
FSJ Wagoneer Engine Rebuild

We rebuild a Jeep Wagoneer's engine for our upcoming trip to Moab, UT. Most of the work we did on this FSJ was not filmed as the deadline was rapidly approaching, but I hope you enjoy this Motor Maintenance video anyhow. This is a 1980 Jeep Wagoneer with the AMC 360 engine, we added edelbrock aluminum heads, an aftermarket cam, and a Holley Sniper EFI Carb.

EASY! Mazda CX-5 Spark Plugs
zhlédnutí 5KPřed 3 lety
The Mazda dealer mechanics quoted $265 for this easy spark plug job! This is on a 2013 Mazda CX-5 but it should be the same on all 2012 - 2016 CX-5s with the 2.0l. This is what most coil on plug 4 cylinders are like.

In this episode I review the E-Autogrilles Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier for TJ and YJ Jeep Wrangler after 1 year of ownership. The design has changed slightly on the tire carrier which may affect the jerrycan mounts and will defiantly affect the storage pouch. Whoops my spring popped out!! Yikes!
Did anyone think 🤔 to bring a shovel ? It helps to keep one in your off road vehicle all year round. 😢 Poor guys..How did they survive off roading this long 😢 😅
My van didn’t come with front sway bar
I wish I didn’t watch this
wow... bravo on that spring!!!
how to repair 2009 Lincoln mkz5 seat belt spring .everything else is in place
Thanks for your video, fixed stuck seatbelt that would not retract. Do more.
Best video on the block! Thanks!
BRO THANK YOU!!! helped me and my uncle fix a company van when we opened the spring and everything flew out
Don’t swerve like crazy and you’re fine 😂
Your video saved me-I was able to follow your instructive video and rewind my seat belt retractor in my 1980 Triumph TR7 ! Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Really clear thanks! 🔧✅
Great Video. There are a few break tools that make this much easier!
Just grease the belt
I’m having this exact problem thank you
SOOOO funny!!🤣 I wonder if you sprung the spring on purpose to help us mere tw1ts who let go the cover!!?? Excellent video & thsnks for your patience. Wonder how many HOURS you spent to make this minutes long HowTo! Many thanks & mucho Kudos young Sir 👍 Edit: just read your comment that you popped it 3 times!! Sorry to hear your pain, to help us mere mortals 😅😂🤣👍👍
Hey, that might just work on my '89 Accord 2-door. They apparently don't make those belts anymore, but you may have just saved my bacon.
Be sure to let us know how your bacon turns out!
It sounds great 👍
how Can I put the light rear if the tire is big now ?
Just like that
Does your wife like you working on that table?
You gotta do what you gotta do :)
Maybe I missed it, but what are the two torque settings and part number for the spark plugs? Thanks.
NGK Laser Iridium ILKAR7L11
@@chucknotermann6177 thanks
I’m glad you got a shock from that spring releasing. Also glad you didn’t lose an eye 👁️.
Thanks boss
Man, you went above and beyond in your commitment to educate the public on how to un-twang a spring🫡
Thank you. 🇺🇸🇺🇦❤🤍💙💛
Took my seatbelt out on my Beetle and it rolled up fully and now won’t extend. It has an electrical harness on it. Is it locked cause it’s not plugged in or was I not supposed to let it fully retract while off the car? Anyone know what’s going on with it?
Thanks for this 💪👍
Grade 8 bolts always
I had the exact same thought when I installed the bumper, and fully expected to replace broken bolts at some point. After years of off road abuse I have been very impressed that none of the bolts have broken.
What brand of safety glasses are you wearing @4:25? 😂
Safe-T Squints© They offer the greatest clarity lenses
Maybe you should put a right hand shock in it
Wait! You wind the spring in the opposite direction (inside out...)?? my spring broke and exploded (i had a rag over it though and the rag caught it all). Thank you sir i shal have another go tomorrow.. i didn't even think about winding it inside out👍. (Doesn't usually work with clock springs lol)
Thanks for the video. My bumper is on the way.
glad to see im not the only one driving around with leaky axle seals lol
Still rolling like that today!
I can only like your video if I click "Visit CZcams"
Oh man you just saved my life. The spring of my citroen Xsara jumped to my face and i didn't know how to put it again
What size socket for screws? How long extension?
Do you know if new standard top tapered bolts can still be bought? if so do you know part number or where to buy?
What rear main seal did you guys use.. i replaced mine with fel pro twice on my 360.. and it still leaks... ... i was told fel pro sucks for the rear main seals
Thanks so much. Excellent video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool.Thanks
No problem!
Awesome video. You have a new sub!
Welcome aboard!
To help anyone who is watching this video for their own door work, let me help you out on the vent window removal and installation. FIRST....roll window 1/3 of the way up and disconnect the guide rail at the bottom of the glass. Remove the rubber bumper at the bottom of the door shell. NOW you can push the glass all the way down to the very bottom of the door shell. this gives you the needed clearance to easily rotate out the vent window and not struggle like this guy. That is the "trick" I believe all the CJ glass is clear and the YJ can in both clear or tinted (slight greenish)
That would've made that so much easier! Thanks for the tip! believe it or not the color difference isn't noticeable when on the vehicle (thankfully)
Watched a few other videos. Like this one. Things to try. See if belt retracts when pulling out from the coil mechanism. If it works, then wash the belt and d ring that belt travels through. Next step, I like the baby powder idea on the belt. Then remove screws from the do not remove cover, and tighten the spring, turning counter clockwise while NOT removing the cover. If it doesn't pull out, the problem is on the other side cover, opposite of the do not remove cover. The lever inside may be stuck, or the belt was pulled out too far, and is stuck. Push back with screw driver. Good luck.
Dude, this video rocks!
Easier method is just to try washing the seat belt as it's dirty, no?
Definite possibility and a relatively easy place to begin!
Thanks a lot for this video. Every other one I found just says clean the belt which is not the issue.
Glad it helped!
@motor maintenance. No rattling while driving?
None! At least none louder than the suspension, tires, etc.
my 99 TJ hasnt seen a sway bar for years, 4 in lift on wide 33s, i love being able to pick up my driver front tire in a turn, makes my 40 year old 4 cylinder seem cooler than it is, and yes trying to keep it on the road i might seem drunk on windy days, but its badass damnit, you dont have body roll, sir
It's a jeep thing.
