How To Stretch Boots

70 year old stains on my garage took three products: 1st was a concrete cleaner, which only removed the surface grease and most recent stains. Then Dawn dish detergent, only took a bit more off. Then I used acetone and a metal brush which removed about 90% of the remaining stain. But that even took three more applications. No free lunch. It requires a lot of elbow work.

Loved the video. Very step by step. However, although my round up sprayer looks like yours for every other part, instead of a push handle valve, I have a push button trigger which no longer pushes down. So my problem is nothing coming out. Have pressure, cleaned everything else. There is no apparent way to get to the inside for cleaning as you did. I am sure it is a spring function. I can pull it off of the hose coming from tank, very hard to do, and I can remove the wand. That seems to be it. Any ideas? Can not find a replacement part other than the push lever, rather than push button

I was wondering if a piper cleaner or drinking straw brush might be useful in dislodging whatever is in the connector if one does not have pressurized air? Also I was surprised by how many parts there are to this tool! And people wonder why their spouses take so long doing a simple outdoor task. "Well honey, it all started with a non-functioning sprayer...."

To compress the front idler back there's a super easy way to do it: Take a block before lifting the machine and place it at the front of the track after removing the grease fitting (the big part) and then just use the machine's own bucket to press on the block. Fast and easy.

I used something similar to the Goof Off remover, and it didn't work. Could it be because of the concrete being inside the garage and not exposed to the sun?

You video has me batting 500. My first ACE sprayer has a clogged screen on the stiff hose that goes into the tank. It was so clogged that you couldn't even tell it had holes!!!! Used hot water in the sink and a small wire and cleaned out all the holes, now it works great!!!! The second Ace sprayer had no clogging issues, but under pressure water was shooting out several places on the handle. Couldn't tell exactly where. Suggestions????

If you use 90% alcohol, vinegar , dish washing soap, & comet add some water & stir. Then rise the concrete area good then wash it /brush it with the mixture. Rinse then wash again let it sit a couple of minutes then rinse it. It will clean your concrete get it to looking like brand new. I’ve tried it and it works.

Should have wet the concrete first, get the oil to rise a bit and chemically the ingredients in a lot of the cleaners need water to properly react and attach themselves to the oil molecules. Without water your essentially just pouring more stuff into of the oil and not doing anything to lift it out until you add the water.

wear some plastic bags on your feet before you slip your foot into the boot. With the bag on your foot, your foot should slip a lot easier into the boot. When you have them on, you can just tear the bags out.
