Hi how to make formula if work start same day am or pm and finish work next day am or pm.
FORMULA ISSUE I'm adding a 3rd IN & OUT columns (F,G) to an existing sheet that had 2IN & OUT columns (B, C,D,E). The original formula for regular hours was: =IF((((C7-B7)+(E7-D7))*24)>8,8,((C7-B7)+(E7-D7))*24). I changed it to: =IF((((C7-B7)+(E7-D7)+(G7-F7))*24)>8,8,((C7-B7)+(E7-D7)+(G7-F7))*24) . I've tested it and it works. I can not get the overtime formula to work. The original was: =IF(((C7-B7)+(E7-D7))*24>8,((C7-B7)+(E7-D7))*24-8,0) . I changed it to: =IF(((C7-B7)+(E7-D7)+(G7-F7)))*24>8,((C7-B7)+(E7-D7)+(G7-F7)))*24-8,0)) . HOW DO i FIX THIS??
How do we get the formula to subtract 30 minutes for lunch if over 6 hours are worked?

I am trying to total hours work Mon-Fri > formula nothing working >just not working => must be me! Help if can // up to 6:49 on video my hours are Mon 8.00 Tues 7.15 Wed 8.00 Thu 8.00 Fri 9.00... these are electronically sent to the bookkeeper each week.
I used this video to create a time clock tracker to manage attendance. The problem I came across is when I deleted the time in and time out for a new week, the total hours worked field populates "-0.50". this is a problem for me because if someone takes a day off during the week, that days hours will be negative when it should be zero. Their total hours for the week will also include this negative. What format needs to be inputted to removed the negative if no value is there?

I could not work out how to lock the formula. F4 DIDN'T work, I needed to do it manually. and my gross pay sum isn't working either. But otherwise it's really good. thank you

You didn't answer the question. How do you insert a new sheet? There is no plus sign to add sheets at the bottom of a new workbook

Hi I need help I am doing night shift and I work from 8 pm to morning 9 am That's 13 hours. But when I enter my time in time sheet instead 13 hours it minus the hours it shows 11 hours . Can u explain please

You need to slow down and show what you are pressing please because what the hell is F6? When I click on that I get computer screen options! Was following along alright until that part then it all went out the window. Plus when I did the money part I followed the steps of selecting all column E and mine kept saying value ??
