Hellleooooo That Mad Artist. Good 2 see u again. I was just thinking about u yesterday & saying to myself I hope all is well with u. Good news on my end. I finally, finally, finally got my hand on a Cricut Joy Xtra Machine. Been doing a couple of projects to test out the machine but not on sneakers. Yet. I made a Vinyl Stencil for a Wine Glass that my bro had & I used Armour Etch Cream n it came out pretty decent. Also made a few T-Shirts 4 me. Now the real test is using it on some sneakers. Hooray 4 me. That Cutting Machine is a game changer 4 me. My early, early Birthday present which is In Sept. Enough about my Journey. This was a very informative video like always especially since a few sneaker artists like Marco & Xavier uses Posco Markers unlike DeJesus Custom Footwear would not approve of this method on sneakers. Good to see u again & can't wait to see ur next project. I think I see a Duck. Gotta go.

Quick question. For the red space ship, did you add GAC/2 SOFT or did you just use Angelus out of the bottle? I am painting racing stripes on a pair or Chucks. I used some white mixed with 2-soft to make the stripes in primer to keep the material flexable. Not sure if I should add 2-soft to the stripe colors (pale blue & orange). Thanks for the help.

If design does not cover entire shoe and part of it will be original unpainted colour, do you clear coat painted part only or unpainted one as well? Thank you. Great video btw.

Your videos are awesome, and I've learnt so so much. Thank you 😁 I have also seen some videos where the artists did mention you could use reducer/thinner if you were ever in a pinch and can't get/don't have any 2 soft to hand, if you where going down the 2 soft/gac route 😁👍 I have used both and none and came to the same conclusion as yourself which fills me with a lot of confidence in my trails and errors 😀 😂

This was always another question i had on my mind. Especially when it comes to 2 soft. Thanks 4 putting this out. I have a small bottle & i thought I had to use it for every color I'm putting on a pair of Converse. Can't wait to see ur next project.

Another excellent mental knowledge video. Yes this is a tough process to get into. I know it won't b easy n there will b some hurdles to jump over or ram through like the hulk 😂😂😂. But on a serious note there's a few artists like u that care to give us a breakdown on the ups & downs of customizing. I finally got a pair of af1 my nephew grew out of. Gotta clean them. But something is better than nothing. I still wanna work on some Mockups b4 I lay something down on them. Wish me luck on my 1st pair to work on. Can't wait to see ur next project.

One important thing in regards to using licensed imagery is depending on what jurisdiction you reside and if your work can be considered transformative you could be covered under fair use type laws. For instance an image of Mickey Mouse wearing a swastika arm band could be considered transformative as it in no way could be confused with an actual Disney product and is making a particular statement about either the company or Walt himself.
