Never Struggle Again: Step-by-Step Guide to Replacing SMD Optocouplers
SMD electronic component soldering and desoldering training and lessons. You can find the answers to the questions of how to solder and desolder SMD electronic components in this video. Learn how to easily replace SMD optocouplers with this step-by-step guide. We'll cover everything from removing the old optocoupler to soldering in the new one. No more struggling with this soldering and desoldering tutorial!
Now, follow the steps below to replace the optocoupler:
Disconnect the device you will be working on from the power source and discharge electricity from all components.
Carefully clear other components and wires around the circuit to get to where the optocoupler is located.
Clean the solder points using a desoldering pump or wick to remove the optocoupler. Be careful and do not burn the surroundings.
Remove the optocoupler and replace it with the new optocoupler. Be careful, make sure you insert it in the correct direction.
Snap the new optocoupler into place and use the soldering station to solder it. Make sure the optocoupler is fixed and placed properly.
After soldering the optocoupler, clean the circuit with a cleaning brush and isopropyl alcohol. This will remove any solder residue and contamination.
Replace all components and reassemble the device.
Plug in the power cord and turn on the device. Check if the optocoupler is working correctly.

Thanks for the video and the infos. I have a Dyson V10 and it seems like it has an issue with the motor or the circuit board. The problem is it only works in the max suction settings and when i try to use it in the firts two settings it just starts and stops in an instant. What dou you think the problem could be? Could the soldering joints be a part of this problem (i say this because the left part of the soldering joints seems a little bit yellowy) or should i renew the solder joints? Thanks in advance.

Pillerin pcb ile bağlandığı yerlere aynı voltajları başka bir kaynaktan verdikten sonra sökülürse belki entegre pilin değiştiğini anlamaz.
Bu yöntem bazı bataryalar da oluyor bazılarında olmuyor. Neticede pilin bir iç direnci var. Bazı bataryalar bu iç direnci algılayabiliyor. Ama gene denenebilir.
I progettisti Dayson sono dei DEMENTI, se metti l'elettronica a bordo motore per di più saldato insieme per i contatti portando di conseguenza tutte le vibrazioni del motore sull'elettronica, è normale che prima o poi si scassa, lo capisce anche un bambino!

Kasnağı değiştirmeye gerek yok. Yeni kayış takıldığı içinde gelebilir. Bir süre sonra keser.

I think you cannot use it. Because the bios software is a special software belonging to the motherboard. Different bios software won't work on motherboard

Hello! Hi. I have a device (Deeper connect mini) it requires 5V 2A through type C port, I used an anker power bank to power it up with no issue. But the moment I connect another device to the other port of the power bank, it kind of short the Deeper connect and now it doesn't come on again. Dunno how or what happend. Can you assist in repairing this?

What did you use to remove the coating on the terminals
I cleaned the coating with isopropyl alcohol. I removed the solder on the motor ends using a vacuum desoldering iron.
Does the optocoupler get damaged when it gets hot?
It may be damaged if it overheats.

Carpet & floor Rollers spin for 1 sec & stop in Eco mode v11 vaccum. Releasing the button & pressing it again does exactly the same. Whats this problem & where to check on the board. Can you make a detailed video about it & share.. thanks

@@licysaab finally, I ve replaced it by new motor (Alibaba) and sell the old one at lower price. (I think expertise know how to fix it as many want it). Now, dyson v10 works fine up to now.
Dyson v10 can't work. Symptoms are as follows. 1. When connecting the charger, turn off after turning on 3 blue LEDs. 2. Remove the main body and battery and disassemble the battery. Press the battery switch and turn off 3 LEDs. 3. The battery's own voltage comes out well. Press the switch on the battery and the P+P- voltage comes out for a while and then it doesn't come out. May I know if it's a battery problem or a body problem?

merhaba iyi günler elimde 1 adet laptop var ve anakart kısa devresi yaptı bir tane smd bobininde ısı biriktiği sonucuna vardım ve değiştirmeyi düşünüyorum bu bobinin aynısından nasıl bulabilirim yardımcı olur musunuz
Merhaba. Bobin üzerindeki harf kodunu internet üzerinde aratarak bobinin değerini ve çalışma akımını öğrenip, bu değere uygun malzemeyi elektronik parça satıcılarından bulabilirsin. Yada hurda kartlar üzerinden de malzemeyi bulabilirsin. Fakat bobinde aşırı ısınma varsa bobine bağlı mosfet yada sürücü entegrede hasar olmuş olabilir.

I recommend using Flux before soldering.
