The PCI DSS does not allow testing of any kind using live PANs. TSYS should know this and provide test card numbers in this video.

This all looks like a solution that was in search of a problem. Why does either Visa or the store merchant care where this money is refunded to? To which card it is refunded to? Isn't that the cardholders responsibility? He/she threw away the gift card it was charged to........ that was stupid. Does it make any sense for a vendor to say to a customer, "... you've met all of our store requirements for a refund, hold on and let me see if I can get Visa's permission to give you back your money."? Looks to me like another way to disappoint a customer at the POS/return counter at a time where people are avoiding the counter all together and buying on-line where this is all done with the click of a mouse. I would be curios as to what brought all this on.

I pay $14 a month for the iCT 250 and used to pay $20 a month for non-compliance. EVEN WITH THOSE FEES REMOVED I am paying Square's $2.75%. EXAMPLE: $375 sales...TSYS charges $69.26 for that month. $69.26-$20 (PCI NON-VALIDATION FEE) - $14 (MACHINE RENTAL) = $35. That's over 9%. Anyone that knows of a better credit card/merchant services company please let me know.

Is there a way to settle the batch and not have a detailed report printed out right afterwards? I have been using this unit for the past 2 days and every time I close the batch, I get a really long report back.
