Ok, let's also add that everything in life is an addiction including food and sex. Our neurology operates on dopamine hits, our very existence is bound by this. Not defending these substances, but cigarettes are a low level commercial version of tobacco plant which has numerous applications, same for Cannabis. America was founded as a tobacco plantation colony, just saying. What we need is higher quality control, age restriction, more regulatory oversight, taxation and creation of a business ecosystem for Cannabis. We cannot let go of the economic benefit of this plant because some people are too feeble minded to not enjoy it responsibly. Cannabis leaves are as good if not better than spinach to consume as a vegetable 😊 Also sugar, a very common compound in our food, is more addictive than Cannabis, so is alcohol, which is far more socially sanctioned. It is one of five sacred plants of our vedic tradition including neem, tulsi, sandalwood and jasmine. So let's please not encroach upon peoples rights to partake. Believe it or not, even making mistake is an individual right, a concept that is valued in the West and could really learn in Nepal tbh. 😎🤙🏽
