With positive off first everything is dead (apart from the positive terminal). You don't want to make a system live that has no neutral point :) that's how I see it anyway but I look at it from a practical point of view not just "this is what old mate told me so i do it"

@@OU-wk9hp in your defence that is what Google says but I'm not sure how it makes sense coz how I explained it. Tbh it doesn't really matter as long as you isolate the terminal. We just wanna avoid shorting the car out which can't be done if you have removed the positive first as there's no power in the system

@@702Supra yes offsets and widths are universal there is one last thing and that's the disc for brake clearance for example work have a o and r disk from memory r is big brake style clearance a is medium clearance and o is low clearance. Mine on the supra are r disc front a disc rear

Thanks Adam. Appreciate your speedy response time. I’m guessing stock TT calipers are not considered “Big Brake”, which is what I have on mine. But, is there a downside to going with the R disc type if I don’t have a BBK? Wondering because I may eventually go there, just not any time soon.

I'll go from my experience I have had this car for over 3 year and drive it daily and I have just done normal servicing and 2 sets of tyres but my tyres would have lasted longer if they were setup how they are now or if I was on 19s for example and not slammed would have easy been 1 set. They are Toyota reliable. Honestly I tried to get my Folkes into one haha

@@TheYoungOGtoucher I have heard rarely the air bag suspension can fail so IF that happens then you can go to Coilovers and mitigate that issue ever again.

@@bigpumper5011 there is a 3 wire plug near the indicator bulb (inside boot behind the plastic window behind the light) that has white with black strip - negative White with green strip - pulsing +12 for indicator Solid green +12 lumination They have connected to the White with Black strip for negative Solid green for positive This way they will turn on when your lights are on even just your parkers. That's how mines done :) Pretty sure that deserves a share and a sub haha

@@edisonpang_ the generic croober, yahoo Japan, AliExpress, eBay but then you have the ones you gotta look deeper for like blow designs do 1 or 2 bodykits and it's kinda like that with a company do 1 or 2 things for the model. Otherwise you will go to websites that essentially drop ship and charge you 8x what you would pay elsewhere just because they are advertising alot of parts in one place
