Together, this fool talking and Y. Coffey have the presence and speaking ability of a house plant.
The gt86 has the same whp as the nd2 mx5 which is about 155 whp 180 ish engine hp. It does not have 200 hp. Also the gr86 has closer to 250 engine hp not 228
Great video. Thank you!
Our pleasure, glad you like it!
All this shit is fine when it works I have less than 25 k on it the heads up display only half works the outside temperature display shows 3 dots it has been very well cared for and maintained I'm very disappointed in this car
So whats the exhaust setup exactly? Corsa xtreme or sport catback? And is it the single x or double helix? Last question.. how many cats does it have from the factory?
My 2019 mustang has the small non-touchscreen screen with buttons on the side, do you know if it'll also fit on that?
This is overall a great video for someone who isn't familiar with oil changes. However, I did see one thing that was very concerning. You mentioned going finger tight and then one full turn beyond that. That is the best way to bend the threads that hold the oil filter on. I have seen it a dozen times over the years. Finger tight and then one quarter turn is all you need after you lubricate the seals. I have never had an oil filter leak doing it that way. I have done all my vehicles that way and have never had a problem and have done multiple other oil changes the same way for friends and family. Even going a half turn beyond finger tight can bend the threads and cause an oil leak. Just some personal experience.
Thank you for posting the video. I bought my 2014 z51 3lt 6spd with 58k miles and did my first oil change. Great video.
This was an excellent video! Thanks!!
Does the car have to be in service mode since the rear brakes are electric? Or can you just pop those pistons in?
Finally a review with a 6 speed
that hidden compartment is amazing, my jaw dropped when you pressed that button haha
Is it a good idea to apply some form of grease around the guide pins or the sliding surfaces of the brake pads? I have seen a couple videos of people doing brake pads on the c7 corvettes and they are all done with no lubrication. I wonder if this is the standard practice
When are you going to a retest with same fresh tires on both? Thanks for the review as I am looking at a grandsport to purchase. I laso got sticker shock with CF brakes.
We want a Fast Vehicle that is easy to work on, and is reliable.
Preferably something gorgeous like the Stinger
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Here's one... I have hair down to my waist and w/ the targa top off I don't need a hair tie... AMAZING!
I just got a 7-speed 2019 C7... would you have a vid on how to use the paddle shifters?
It’s too bad the veloster is ugly.
Remember make sure oil is warm before this below 80c open filter and cap
I am five years late to this video, but it deserves a comment for the algorithm. I have been recently researching this vehicle, and this was the perfect review. You summed it up just right, an option for a stick and a V8, or even a small super charger. Both going the way of the Dodo bird. I would like them to make better use of the car size, shorten the nose enough tot give rear seating and trunk space. I would also like to see lift backs make a come back, but only Audi and Kia took a swing at it. Anywho, dozens of canned videos a watched, I am glad I found this one.
Why does everyone continue to call this car big? It's the same size as the old Mid-size vehicles. What are you all driving, Fiat 500's? We live in a world surrounded by monster pick ups and you rattle on about a car that in my experience doesn't feel big at all.
The Chassis on the Challenger is 2" shorter, I believe.
is that vasoline in the screen?
The 1LT doesn't have a PDR since there are no front cameras on the 1LT correct? Just the 2LT and 3LT have it I thought.
We believe you are correct
Fuck man. Thanks for making this video. The dealership charges me over $200 for a vette oil change.
Should run you now about $50-60! You are very welcome!
To be honest, you're not a good track driver. You also don't understand that whether you have steel brakes or CCB, the breaking power under optimum conditions is NO different. You don't need CCB unless you want less dust or you're doing many many laps. CCB only help with heat dissipation. The do NOT have better breaking power under normal conditions. In fact, many people that track cars switch to steel over CCB because of the cost because unless you are doing a LeMan's race, most of you people would never need CCB. Lastly, learn to engine break when you go on a track. You did 0 engine breaking.
Tell us you don’t know much about track driving without telling us you don’t know much about track driving. Engine braking? That’s what you do on the street, which we’re guessing is the extent of your experience. Also guessing you’ve never driven a car with CCB brakes. They grab harder and faster than typical (non-race pad) steel. And yes, their main advantage is better heat dissipation, but having been on the end of a few overheated sets of brakes, most people would love to always run CCBs. The reason they don’t is the high replacement cost of the pads and (especially) the rotors. Were they the same price, you’d take CCBs all day and twice on Sunday.
Great video! Thank you
I wanted to add that my 2019 Grand Sport 7 speed manuel gets 31 miles per gallon(!) in 7th gear cruising at approx 82 mph!! This is after adding a cold air intake, custom performance intake manifold, long tube headers with cat delete, also an X-pipe, and adding an E-85 (Flexfuel) sensor with an E-85 tune. My GS generates approx 565 rear-wheel horsepower, and sounds to me much more unique and fearsome at full throttle than all the flat-plane crank Mustangs out there.
When i get mine in auto imma enjoy it
Ur time would have have been better if u brakes later with the z07 package that’s why the brakes are better to let u go faster and break later in corners u worse braking the same as the regular brakes
Nice work!
to think we could've had king shocks and stock 37s...
I installed one on my '18 Z51. yeah, the fit could be better. not the hardest task I've ever had to accomplish on a vehicle, but for something which will need regular replacement (remove/install) ... this thing could have fit a little better, especially given the housing is plastic. I was cautious about breaking the tabs/slots on the housing. Also, GM's process for accessing the filter. Really? My F350 w/ 6.7 PSD, also mounted on the same fender for cold air ... 4 spring clips pops out VERY easy. No muss no fuss. That PSD moves FAR more air than the LT1. gutsy move using a drill on these screws (at least to install) ... given it is plastic into which they are being turned. Ima old school 1/4 drive ratchet guy (on a new car, I know) I haven't tracked it since the filter install, but the wash/wear appealed to me, too. Nice vid. Thanks!
Too bad the 2014 C7 doesnt have some of those.
Thank you…
Our pleasure
Looking at purchasing one of these or the Carbon 65 edition. How does the blue reflect off of the windshield while driving? Is it very noticeable or do you forget about it after a while?
You’ll only really notice it for a day or two, then you get used to it to where you forget it’s there
To dosey to find the noise or even change the oil ..idiots

I love this video man , love the great work
Thank you!
I’m an RT owner with every option. Put an aftermarket supercharger on it. Mucho fasto. Had a 6 banger as a rental. Solid car. Great daily driver and has enough hustle. Blue color is sharp.
You shouldnt be reviewing cars to be honest. I own one of these and you have no idea what your talking about. You should never assume and mock something you have no idea about or how to drive it. Just saying.
There was no torque steer because you didnt turn off the traction control and ecs.
Doris is the best seat cover for your Vette
Do you have a video for dodge charger?
It should be a 32mm not 36mm
"wait wait wait come back!!"
😂😂😂
Great video, been dreaming about getting a c7 GS since I drove one a couple years ago, one of the funnest cars I've driven. I can't wait to comment on this video some time from now when I finally get one 👍🏽
The Z4 is often referred to as a "GT" car. These times are wild; the Z4 hits 1.03 g on the skid pad!
