I'm sorry if your not. But you sound go gay. If you are not then stop
Love seeing this huge project bloom..how are you dealing with the mosquitoes?
I have that same exact phone mount and love it. I usually just roll my GoPro, but would be nice to have something for the rear
Can I watch the video at my house ? I have this camera but I want to watch
Yes, they do have an app and you can connect to Wi-Fi for that feature OR remove the microSD card and pull the video files onto a computer or compatible TV
Great for insect control.
And expanding my orchestra of frogs 😂
Nice! Going to have to get one for our car, eventually.
Do it!!! I got it for peace of mind since I see an accident on my coffee route almost daily I just wanted to cya
Had question regarding chicken feeder video. Have not received a response in quite a long time
Sorry I must have missed it! What was the question?
Found it responded, it was in thread from a 3 year old video so I don't see those notifications unfortunately
For anyone considering these tires, I couldn't be happier with mine. They're great in town (quiet), off-road, and amazing in the snow - 3 peak! I'd say they are a cross between an AT and MT tire. Plus, they have a 50,000 mile warranty!
100% agreed! The most surprising part is how quiet they actually are considering the aggressiveness of the tread
Love that you were able to get all of that equipment delivered even though it sounded like an eventful day. Looking forward to the upcoming content because that's going to be one super impressive array! Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I am so excited to get working on this solar system.
Dude!! Ground mount this I’m telling you! Way better easier to maintain. Just a side note from your friendly solar installer lol
I appreciate the advice, however to accommodate an array of this size I would be losing a lot of yard space. The roof is easily accessible and it is existing infrastructure so no need for a large ground mount installation which would require serious footings because I need to meet 150 mph wind speeds.
@@ianmburke gotcha so for you that setup makes complete sense! Can’t wait to see it man stay safe and be careful!
Thank you! Stay tuned there will be lots more to come! Keep the suggestions coming 🫶
Great song choice 😉
Seemed fitting 🤣
They need to come out with a solar powered mini with a central air handler setup for retrofits that would be sweet.
That would be amazing!!!!
Cross rotate aggressive off road tires even agressive all terrain tires should be cross rotated
What the hell do you need to run with 47kw of panels? 36kw of inverter and 117kwh of battery? If anything please tell me your doing it as a off grid 3phase setup? I've been wondering how it would pan out.
Three phase is one of the eventual steps! And the rest is for becoming grid independent, with the consideration of my eventual needs for more power
@@ianmburke id wire it as 3 phase 120/208 now and your future proofed without the need to do a phase converter.
Brilliant! And I will most likely take your exact advice
Holy moly that's a lot of solar panels!!! Is that going to completely cover the barn roof? Or did you get enough to have a secondary solar array elsewhere?
It will cover the whole barn and two arrays on the house, and a few extra panels for any needed expansion projects
Can't wait to see the progress!!
Same!!!!! I cannot wait to not have a $500 a month power bill 😂
I have no idea what's going on, but nothing but 2:51 unskippable ads in front of this video...
That's really weird?? But was the video able to play just CZcams annoying ads? I bought CZcams music/CZcams red years ago which is now 'youtube premium' and it is literally the best purchase ever. Unlimited streaming music plus upload your own music, plus you get CZcams with ZERO ads... One of the few purchases I would do over and over again.
This is awesome
Worked well to keep the heat soak at bay
That's hot! 🥵
Visually hot
Hey did you ever find a guide for the app? Looks great but there’s no info anywhere that I can find about what each of the modes does.
I never download apps of any kind really but the side of the unit has a QR code that links to this site: smartapp.tuya.com/solarairconditioner
Installing mine now. The mystery plug messed me up, too!
Yea I'm still not sure what that does. But the unit works perfectly so .... 🤷
@@ianmburke having an absolutely horrible time trying to mount the inside unit to the mounting plate. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. First the hole seemed way too close to the plate the way I did it according to the template. Then it was nearly impossible to get all the wires and cables through enough that I could get the unit against the wall to click into the clips. So I mounted it onto a piece of plywood so it would have a bit of space and I barely got it on, but it looks precarious. Very frustrating.
I wonder if having a pass through hole that was a little larger to allow movement in the position of the line set would make that easier as well?
@@ianmburke I finally got it. I didn’t realize it was absolutely vital to clip the top in first. Also, moving a dresser over to stand on, instead of having each foot on a different step ladder, made for a lot less swearing…
Yes the top hooks in then the bottom clips in! Brilliant with the dresser though I used one step stool and my shoulder hates me now 😂 glad you got it in!
I ditched the factory 33’s right away when I got my 22 power wagon. Got AEV Katla wheels with nitro Terra grapler g2s in 37x12.5x18 and they fit just fine with no rubbing any where
What is the offset on those wheels?
I have a 992 sq ft townhouse here in FL and my central air conditioning just went up. I'm thinking of getting two of these units instead of replacing my old unit.
For that sqft you could even get 2 of the 12k / 1 ton units and it would keep it really cold. I have this unit upstairs in my house which is about 1300 sqft and it keeps it at 68 on 90 degrees days
@@ianmburke Oh okay, thanks!
I currently have a similar pipe opening but attached to a 5 gallon bucket, like the ones you find on Amazon, and my chickens somehow get ALL the food out and dumps it on the ground. Do your chickens do this?
They do that every once in awhile but they usually seem to do that when too many are trying to feed at once.
Ram engineers spent millions designing this truck to do what it does, but somehow, someone who just bought one knows that it’s better to put larger tires on it. There is no doubt that larger tires look cool, but there will be no appreciable difference in performance, except for slower acceleration, decreased gas mileage, and a decrease in towing capacity. My stock 2019 PW has been on trails in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Montana without any issues, plus it hauls hay on my ranch in the winter through snow and mud with no problem.
As we approach the 4th of July weekend I'm a reflecting on how this great nation of UNITED states came to be. The power of the PEOPLE'S will to join together and set aside differences and sacrifice life in the pursuit of FREEDOM. Freedom to choose how I live and granting you that same freedom in return. I challenge you good sir, this weekend set aside option in the pursuit of brotherhood as it will undoubtedly be the most vital asset we can pass to the next generation.
Wtf
I’m doing mine this weekend plus putting on covers let’s see if that helps for next few years
Smart to put the covers on and a good clearcoat!
Plan on painting and clear coat plus covers give it extra protection
Why wouldn’t you just take them right off the jeep?
A couple of reasons: 1 those hex bolts often strip when trying to remove them and 2 the alignment won't ever be the same. So for me just keeping them on was easiest
Good call lol
Same truck with 37's Now take off those side steps 😊
I'm an old man I love my grandpa step 😂 but I'd really like those rock slider style retractable ones
I'm blue da boo dee daboo di
You wet your plants 😂
😂 everybody is doing it!
You know where i can fet one for 50 bucks
They are relatively expensive and they have ultra low resolution versions for pretty cheap but depending on what you are using it for, it might limit the usefulness with lower resolution
Nice!
Yeah this thing is pretty amazing!
Love the butt chuck
Genius 😂😊
Thank you
do u have any problem with rain getting in or no
I don't have the jeep anymore but I never did nor does the new owner. Engines can get wet
Nice presentation, I have three supplementing my house 24k, 18k,18k, they really enjoy a level and plumb install.
That is awesome! Did you do them all DIY? The outdoor unit I need to level just a hair more it's about 2 degrees leaning outwards but still working incredibly well
@@ianmburke Yes did them myself, I found some literature that the bearings could wear prematurely if the unit is not both plum and level, it was fiddley as the wall mounts are less than precise, wife not happy about the looks of the inside unit but it works great. The ceiling units were not readily available. Are you going to do dedicated solar to each unit or run a inverter from solar and power the systems.
Looking good, sir!
I appreciate it man!
Nice job. Love's good 👍
Thank you! Your content made me want to use the fused disconnect.
@@ianmburke Awesome! 👍
Those whips on the disconnect are disguising
How so? What can I do better?
Did you hook up the cradles? Just going back and forth with Firestone and airlift for my 2020 pw. CJC Off Road also has a nice removable set but are $1600+
I do have the cradles I just haven't installed them yet since I haven't gone heavy offroading since the install and the Airlift are amazing for the price they do exactly what I need and are less than 500$ USD
Appreciate you making and sharing this video. I just picked up a PW and the factory tires are horrendous. Wasn’t sure if 37’s would work on stock suspension and I definitely wanted to stay stock. After watching your video it was clear 37’s would fit and I actually went from looking at BFG KO2 to exactly what you have MT Baja Boss AT. The tires and stance is perfect now. Thanks again for sharing.
Glad it helped!!! I spent a lot of time stalking the obnoxious Facebook groups and online forums until I found someone with the same year who had gone 37 and confirmed so I figured I owed it to the community to show it in a place where most come for answers!
Takes all the fun out of driving a tractor in the dark. Where's the thrill if you can see where you are going?
😂 at least I can still turn them off and just smash my way into the direction I assume I should be traveling
She's the best little Muma ❤
I have a 2 inch spacer from my old lifted 2500, what if I installed the spacers in the front to prevent it rubbing, what you think of that? I have 22 PW
Spacers in just the front might be odd??? Idk I personally stay away from spacers and select for wheels with the offset needed, the rubbing is minimal so for me I'll keep it. But lmk if that works
If you paint it white on the inside first, it’s easier to see what is inside the box.
I'm actually going to line the inside with thin white foam for that reason and the additional feature of rattling noise reduction
@@ianmburke excellent!
This was the most helpful video in all of CZcams history
I appreciate that 🙏
Great video, Ian! We really appreciate the transparency. We've received a lot of requests for EG4 to offer extended or longer line sets. That's not something that's available at the moment, but should be in the pipeline in the future. We're really glad you enjoy the unit, and look forward to the first floor install. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! The length would be super helpful and although the mounting was a little more technical I was most worried about the noise it would reverberate into the wall and that is almost zero!! Several times I have thought the unit was off while I was outside 15 feet from it because it is so quiet. Once I do the first floor install I'll also do some decibel readings near this unit indoor and out because personally I think that is a very under represented benefit of these units, they are nearly silent even when running on full
So, what are you thinking of on your ROI?
Not sure yet I'll have to see once I get the solar putting power to it. But as of right now it is the only air conditioning for the upstairs of my house so for the month of June I'll have a good idea of what it will have cost compared to last year when I get my bill in July and I'll do a comparison to show how it stacks up with just AC power then I'll add solar and see what the real ROI is
@@ianmburke IDK why I even ask, as you're always 3 steps ahead of anything I think of...loving your content none the less
This is what these trucks should look like from the factory.
Agreed!!!
Should you be drilling into the ROPS bar. Surely that will compromise it's strength.
100% I agree it likely compromised it some l but I highly suspect it would not be compromised enough to cause it to not do the job it was engineered to do.
Great video, Ian! Those mini splits are really gaining popularity. I think you did a great job highlighting the great benefits of having one of these units. You're doing an awesome job!!
Thank you Matthew! I'm excited to install it this weekend and subsequently install the solar to see how effective these types of products can be for people trying to reduce grid energy consumption or just avoid having to connect to the grid altogether.
