Its annoying how you was holding the picture. Hold it to their face.🤣
Good looking guy, maradona💀
Some of them were not soccer football girls.😮 Nice watch.😅
Yea I was the same as all those people, when I first watched and heard about soccer, I thought it was boring, it was not exciting, no interest at all at the beginning. Until I realize how much of a dumbass and ignorant I was. Now it’s one of my favorite sports. Ever since I’ve heard of Messi and I watch videos of his highlights, I was like 🫢😶🤯. I really would have wish I could have watched him live in the beginning of his career with fc Barcelona. Messi is the main reason why I got into football. ⚽️🐐
It's called football not soccer🙄🤦♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️
Soccer association football do your research
@@CZcamssGreatest do your research because estados unidos is the only country in world that calls it soccer. Now why is that? Do hard solid research and figure out, why?! ......Hint: it is to do with the slavery era. Whites in america were 'low class' whites of the british who were put there to kill out the first people. When america gained control and started to develop themselves, they wanted to not be like the british hence why they(US) drive on the opposite side and created their own sport(football/NFL) to give the originality of football a rebranded name now called soccer only in one country in the world. There are many other changes but i just give those two to highlight the reality of america's ignorance or trying to be unique.
Listen I'm American I started watching sports in 2008 only the sports that was being present it to me that means Zero Soccer a couple years later I traveled outside of the United States and that was a wake up call I meet people who loved sport but not the American kind I know absolutely nothing about soccer players had never even heard about the most popular players in the world it was a learning experience so after I went home back to the States and I started watching soccer for the first time ever I personally find American football the much better sport but for international purposes I just keep up with a little bit of soccer here and there
Because you living in a bubble. WC is the greatest competition in sports ever. Second is champions league. Then anything after. Come out the NFL US mentality and you would see for yourself. 🥱🥱🤷♂️🤷♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️
@@ozoneA6 College Football 🏈 and NFL are the best Sports in world Hands Down it's not even close, I watched the last World Cup Final I didn't find It very entertaining maybe it's the American in Me I say when you watch the Greatness of American Football 🏈 sports like Soccer ⚽ just don't hold up 👈👈
@@Lottoboi100 i watched it all and it is nothing close to CL or WC. Oh yes, surely the american in you of prejudices wanting to be in the talks of greatness when yall are far off way behind. Lol.
I think ball knowledge has definitely improved in the US, ive got some American friends and they know their stuff about football (im English 🤣) we still speak over the internet sometimes and just talk football, it's definitely growing in the states, I mean look at the USMNT, it's now not a joke anymore as it once was, they're not amongst the elite yet, but now there an upper middle of the pack team that could pull an upset in the right situation
We need a new coach for usmnt Greg is so mid he only is gonna win games he's supposed to win
Captain america girl looks a lot like Michelle Rodriguez in Fast and Furious
You really thought they would? 🤔🤣 I don't live in Europe, but who wouldn't want to watch the best of the best?
Great job man!
and it's not the world cup " the world cup !"
Great video though
Easy questions 😉
They know World Cup and that’s about all the knowledge they have about this sport. They still call it Soccer 😂
English called it Soccer first.. it comes from 'asSOCiation' football. It was an alternative name because people in England called Rugby 'Rugby Football' and the term Soccer was adopted by many people to avoid confusion. It was logical that the USA would use it as its term. It has declined in use over the years in UK but some non football fans still use the term in the British Isles when talking about the game.. mostly people from a more upper class background who are into Rugby more than football or Irish people who are more into Gaelic Football.
I'm American I watch the premier league , champions league world cup copa America euros your wrong
It’s literally the same thing I don’t get why you guys trip over the name still
Its called football so that girl in a way was correct 😂
It’s called Association Football. Soccer is short for Association Football.
MLS without a promotion and relegation is a piece of trash that no one recognizes
In reality, Promotion-Relegation would hamper it's growth of MLS. Why would you want to add the risk of Relegation with virtually no reward for the league.
The first place team isnt the winner of the league so relegation is pointless
Hahaha funny to see the first girl thinking USA is the world.
She's lovely and having a laugh so she gets a pass.
CONCACAF Champions Cup is TODAY!!! Columbus vs Pachuca! I have never watched the UEFA Champs League.
Watch it before it’s too late..
😂😂😂😂 Columbus got bossed...
@@josephobanyi2429 Good. I'm a LAFC fan.
Champions League is the best football to watch out there. I didn't wanna a Real win cause they've already won it 14 times before last night but still all the games were amazing. Best one my opinion was 1st leg between Man City and Real banger goals all match
3:28 "He broke my heart today, he didn't come, I was expecting him. I got drunk because of him now" I love you Messi, even if you don't love me
Listen I get it,football( American hybrid Rugby) is king, but cmon Texans y’all usually host the Dallas Cup which is one of the most prestigious international youth tournaments in the United States + y’all showcase premier competitions that include international clubs - and not to mention Liga México which is right across the boarder. As a kid growing up in the Northeast and playing club soccer/High School ,we were heavily immersed into the sport, and I distinctly remember how we all wanted to be All-American plus go on club tournaments in Europe and be part of the O.D.P. We also went to soccer camps lead my ex pros from Latin America/Europe/Africa .Maybe it was my ecosystem, but we used to run to Barnes & Noble to try to get the latest Soccer magazines from abroad and not to mention soccer parade magazine in the U.S. I am an ardent La Liga MX supporter and that’s were I also learnt about fútbol and it was pivotal to my learning about soccer. Don’t get me wrong,I also embrace our sports too,but no bones about I love soccer ie. Club América/MX;Corinthians/Brazil;Colo Colo/Chile;River Plate/Argentina;PSV Eindhoven/Netherlands;Borussia Dortmund/Germany;Real Madrid/Spain;Juventus/Italy;Liverpool/England and Celtic/Scotland . Listen, you can’t teach passion,if you are passionate about something,it shows.
American soccer also came from soccer too
@@riccorichPlease expatiate,I would love to have a clear understanding to your point. Are you trying say soccer in the U.S was adopted from the English who were the first one to call it soccer(etymology of soccer)?
CONCACAF Champions League should've been asked about as well😔
Some people are just cucks for Europe. Gross, but true.
and don't forget to the Female Soccer League
I would rather watch paint dry than a baseball game.
THE WORLD SERIES!!! Only participants.. America lol
Americans are boring 😂
USA football is becoming more and more settled but MLS & USA football without a promotion and relegation is a piece of trash that no one recognizes
Together with replacing soccer with football, americans should also adopt metric system and Celcius degrees.
u do know soccer name came from UK. why did u steal name football from america and replace soccer with football. that means you should not use the metric system
@@OddSwiftGoose In American football you mostly use hands so why is it called football? No logic behind it. How do you call people who play soccer? Suckers? I propose american football name replaces with american rugby and soccer with football. It is the highest time to do it.
We don’t really care ~ rest of the world
I do not understand why folks don't like soccer... If you give it a chance you'll fall in love with it.
I did I used to hate seeing it and now I wanna be a pro at it
Americans hate soccer because they don’t have the attention span to watch 2 45 minute half with no commercials 🤯……
I hear people here say Soccer doesn't have enough scoring too. For me, the lack of constant scoring just makes it that much sweeter when it does happen. It (usually) takes a whole lot of build-up and tactical prowess to get a goal and hearing the crowd blow the roof off the stadium when it finally does happen is something special.
imo the thing that hurts it the most in America is that leagues such as MLS and liga Mx don’t really have exciting and tactical build up thus leaving the game kinda boring, whereas European and some south American teams use amazing tactic and set pieces to score
That dude in Orange is definitely a racist
I live in Houston
It just depends where you grew up and were exposed to. If you grew up in India you'll love cricket (which I totally don't get) If you grew up in Brazil you'll love soccer If you grow up in Dominican Republic you'll love baseball. America - it's very multi-sport so there is something for everyone. You basically have 7 pro sports that all have big fan bases. Not to mention college sports
Yh but the thing is football(soccer) is very dominant in most countries with multiple pro sports.
If you’ve played the game you love it. Many have never played and don’t understand the feeling of playing as a team and scoring a goal.
if i gotta fall asleep to something im definitely putting a mlb game on, shit is boring asf.
How about you add some actual sport too the sport instead of 9 billion ads
Yet soccer is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S,so let’s be intellectually honest about this topic. I know because I can attest to it. Eat your heart out haters!
It's definitely growing and these next few years will hopefully only boost it more
It's called football not soccer across the world.
@@David1991.In most countries yes,but there are other countries that also call it soccer too.
@@drewbranch7700 Only plastic fans called it soccer while real fans call it football. American football is a copy of rugby.
@@David1991.I guess you know it all Sherlock lol
7:02 missed an opportunity here - Soccer in the US is older than all sports. Maybe baseball has it beat. If you live in the Northeast and are the descendant of immigrants your ancestors probably followed Oneida Football club, Fall River Marksmen, Pawtucket, Newark, Peterson, or Philidelphia football clubs. Soccer predates American football. Soccer is not uniquely American but it is indeed American. Big sports media have done a good job lying to American sports fans over the years. Golf is Scottish.Baseball is rounders, football is rugby, hockey is a Canadian version of Scottish field hockey...What is the American sport? Basketball? Invinted by a Canadian? Everything we do is borrowed.
Can't dispute what you're saying! Soccer definitely has a long history in the United States, but perhaps an inconsistent one when compared to the other major sports, no? It took a long time for there to be an established domestic league. And when even looking abroad, having Champions League, Premier League, etc readily available to view on US Television is fairly recent too.
He's right.
Yeah, but who's your MLS team?!? I can not respect someone who doesn't follow their own county's domestic league.
czcams.com/video/PNjd1xd2ZI0/video.htmlsi=gQ1IaoJ2qVLuhFDB
Americans suck at soccer so they make up their own sports instead of playing the world’s sport.
Definitely not as good as several other countries. Where would you rank the US in world football?🤔
@@supersubsoccer I am a US fan but don’t like how they treat the game of soccer. I would rank the national team around the 10th spot.
To be fair. The same way they look at soccer is the same i feel about American sports. I don't like anything about American sports
Fair enough
I'm weird because I like soccer and baseball lol
One thing is enjoying your team or league and another thing is enjoying the sport. I can enjoy even a good kids game to be honest... that's how much I enjoy the sport. But as a Houstonian, the Astros have a large die hard fan base, but they can keep the old g**zers you interviewed. Everyone knows that the other American sports have on average older fans.
The move for soccer is definitely targeting a young audience. Hopefully that strategy pays off in a few decades
They dont like it because they dont get scores like 116-114 and they dont stop every 5 mins for adverts and the commentators cant throw thousands of stats at you.
Imagine a 116-114 soccer match😂
@@supersubsoccer it would be just like all the other American sports - boring as hell lol
@@supersubsoccer you should do a video about US Soccer's recommendations to FIFA on how they should change the game to capture the American audience back in 93/94 before the World Cup. Proposals included making the goals much larger, having scoring zones and more points for harder goals. Pretty funny.
Would be in an interesting one! Will add it to the list of ideas. Thanks!
I’m a futball fan and I grew watching it …. My only issue with American sports , they either slow and take forever or endless scoring
Appreciate the thoughts! It really is all about perception, right? American football fans will say soccer is slow and then soccer fans will say American football is slow. Interesting
Because they suck at it.
Just said that it’s hard that’s why they don’t like it
You think if the men's team was better more fans would come?
@@supersubsoccer Obv (extra if there was a Zlatan or CR7 player type sh*)
When you watch soccer there a total of 15 - 20 minute break/ads for halftime (with the halftime show included in that) which is the perfect amount because you might need to use the bathroom, but nba has an extreme amount of ads and breaks same with nfl, but not as bad. I never watched baseball so I don't know how bad the ads are there. This is very important because we can all agree that the most boring part of any sport is the ads/breaks, and soccer has the least amount of them and by a lot. There is a reason soccer is the biggest sport in the world.
Some good thoughts here. Definitely love the limited ads when it comes to watching soccer
I feel like people that say soccer is boring are missing out, but people that find baseball boring are not missing out. My favorite sports are Soccer, Basketball, Tennis and Football, but I was never interested in baseball. Btw Tennis is a very underrated sport in terms of watching/spectating.
Interesting. I've never really gotten into tennis. Might have to check it out!
Imagine being the older guys in this video being alive during Ronaldinho, Zidane, Messi (prime) and many many more legends and saying its boring lol.
Americans need stimulation every few seconds, so paying attention for 45 minutes without ad breaks for trucks and Doritos isn't palpable to your median American
Makes sense from a TV viewing perspective. Do you think it's a fair assessment that soccer offers a better live viewing product than a TV product?
But baseball is mostly dead time. A 3 hour game might only he’s 3 min of actual action. It’s objectively the most boring game in the world. Only cricket beats baseball… and Baseball is originally cricket… so make sense it’s the two sports nobody watches
