In my model you would boot from an SD card. You can also now boot from these hardrives but if you are planning to raid them my suggestions is just use SD card and raid the two devices so you have access to all of the drive not just a partition. Also, putting the OS on the NVME drives and then raiding is an risk IMO. I prefer just OS on SD card to boot then keeping all the space on the drives for raid. Cheers.

Yea I'm dealing with a go3 return and it's a nightmare compared to DJI. My 4 month old go3 bricked and I have to pay post for them to decide if they will honor warranty. Not impressed.

I'm in Canada and only few months ago, I sent it away, got a brand new insta360 Go2, and they sent it back, all no charge what so ever, completely free, no hassle what so ever, all within 2 weeks. sorry your experience isn't the same. I have never even made a video about the camera, I just use it on my drone because of the weight, and it's perfect for that. same thing with mine though, didn't crash or anything and just would not recharge or connect to the case, I think it was the battery for mine. hope they replace yours !

@@lofdz welcome and thanks you! So I actually think the ACE is awesome in low light and for low light stability its best in class by far IMO. You can make the DJI Action for do a bit better by shooting in manual and D - Log but I still think in low light in regards to stability the ACE Pro wins. I personally like the DJI better but honestly I think in your use case I personally might lean a bit more into the ACE pro. I know that sounds odd coming from me but.......I think for the low light stability and for vlogging, the flip up screen is pretty awesome for vlogging, I personally prob give a slight edge to ACE. Just my two cents tho mate.

Good call! But the issue I had is with the standoffs and because I am using a POE Power hat, it stack was too high to fit into the slot of the server caddy. Plus I think I just wanted to cut metal lol. Cheers mate!

Yea I'm not certain why they made the choice. I miss mine. You can power with USBC I was just turned off by that bc it takes up a port then and I need all of them for my peripherals. Great little machime besides that tho!

So in this instance this is some guy, using this AI script and model, to overlay Elon face on his in real time. Meaning he is doing a live broadcast and AI, in real time, is changing his face to look like Elon.

@@Mrjazzzery I chose the SER7 for RDNA3 graphics which is a step beyond the other options, the higher tdp, and the space/size form factor. All of which made it an excellent option, until it died. I wanted to play older games 1080p on high, new/newer games on low/med without FSR if possible. It did that. I hope the replacement will arrive soon so i can finish my playthrough of Mafia: Definitive Edition, which was running great.

Yes, there are some really cool 3-D printed solutions if you have not checked into them yet. Check out ETSY. They don't seem to be the cheapest but, they would work. Some have handles on them and such. I am waiting to see if Starlink will come out with anything. But some of those Etsy printed solutions are pretty neat.

Someone testes theirs in a carry case and it worked just fine. So your idea makes a lot of sense.

Just checked it out, I have to say, $2,500 for a case and built in battery that is 30,000mah.....I mean full on cool idea, but if you have a connection to them, that price tag won't fly. Super cool, just too pricey for most. When I look at, knowing what I know, 30AH battery is max retail $200, being a CNC guy, the material and cut is max $100 if you own the CNC machine, maybe $200 if you are paying someone. Internals less electronics if even needed, $50.00. Suction feet/magnetic feet, max $40. To charge over 2500, its just way way way to much.

It should, you would just want to partition that drive, using something like G Parted. Put OS,boot on one partition and set another for the raid "drive" that you are going to "raid" to another drive. I would however argue, unless you are using this for other things besides just a NAS, you may want to keep those two drives as identical pairs with no OS on them. Anytime you have an OS on the same drive as a partition that you raid, its a risk, not saying you shouldn't do it, just a bit more risky. Cheers.

I don't think they have something like horizon lock per say, but you can lock the gimbal. Though I am not sure it would be good for what you are looking for in a gimbal lock as I suspect, correct me if I am wrong, you more after horizon lock. In order to lock the gimble just press and hold left joystick button a lock will appear right hand top corner and gimbal will hold lock on the frame you are shooting, release the button and you will unlock. Hi, If you can afford it the Raspi 5 is going to a much better experience especially if you can get the 8GB model. If they want to program or watch CZcams the Pi 5 will just be such a better experience for them. It's a wonderful platform for them to learn on but its also a really good quiet and small desktop replacement as well IMO. Some folk will differ with me but at this current time with the Pi 5 I would have no issues working on it all day and using it to replace my desktop PC. Now, its not going to like be a gamer, though it does really well with retro gaming but streaming stuff it will handle without and issue. It maybe a little slower loading things than you kids are used to but I don't think it will be like, ew no, this thing is way to slow. I think, and hope its more like, wow its pretty quick for such a tiny, small, fanless computer. I would not hesitate to put any kids on the Raspi 5 and if they are budding little nerds like I was, they will LOVE it! It's honestly my favorite small computer of all time! I don't take back being hard on the 400, and we have not seen an update to it for a reason, but the Pi5, I have 7 of them lol. Cheers!

Honestly if you can wait, we should see new cameras from both GoPro and DJI this summer. If ou can't wait it really depends on use case and personal preference. For me, I prefer DJI Action 4 due to the color and sensor. I am just partial to the video DJI produces, followed by GoPro and then last place for me would be Insta360. However, in low light I think the Insta360 edges out the DJI slightly and certainly for low light stability. So really depends on what you are doing, by eyes and style I still prefer DJI tho. Hi. I will be honest IDK much about dash cams and have not used them in that manner. My thoughts tho is the insta might be a good way to go bc it shoots in 8K, and also has a lossless digital zoom. This way, if you needed to zoom in you could and if you shot in 8K, you could always zoom in in post if needed without it getting all grainy and blurry. Cheers!

I'll need some time to think here. Id prob raid it or pool the drives then connect that to next cloud. The distribution of data could be tricky but in order to reduce the complexity id use a cloud service to sync to those external locations. Now that I'm thinking maybe even possible with pis new remote feature. Give me some time to think on this and I'll get back to you.
