The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum opened in 2002 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, with a vision to bring recognition to Kentuckians who have made a significant contribution to the music industry. With that vision in mind, a collection of artifacts and memorabilia highlighting the careers of the over 50 inductees fill the museum. You can also learn the history of music dating back to the 1800’s. A common misconception is that the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame focuses mainly on country and bluegrass related artist, however there are inductees from all genres of music as including The Backstreet Boys, Loretta Lynn, Florence Henderson, Rosemary Clooney, Keith Whitley, Boots Randolph, and so many more. The Appalachian Triangle of Kentucky was inspired by the almost transcendent draw locals experience when describing our region-a little pocket of the Appalachian Mountains in Southeastern Kentucky that more than makes up for its size in vast wildlands and breathtaking views. Ask anyone. Our pride in our region runs deep. It’s only rivaled by our love for the individual counties and cities we each call home.

One of the greats that passed down her talent to all her family. A family rich with talent and a husband ( Duane Allen of The Oak Ridge Boys ) she went on to earn many awards and was well sought after by the Greats in The Music Business. Now singing for The King of Kings Our Father God she will always be remembered and Missed By Many Many Artist and Fans. Her legend lives on and we will all long for the days when we hear her Beautiful Vocals Once Again. Rest in Jesus Christ Arms until the day we will join you Noral Lee...❤

The Atkins Estate gave Yandell a CPG honor in 2011. Was Paul able to receive it before his passing in November that year, or was it given to him posthumously? Anyone on this?
It was given to Paul posthumously. The Atkins family said at the time that his award would be the last CGP title. Personally, I think Lenny Breau should have been given a CGP as well. Chet and Lenny influenced each other.
