My thoughts and reason for why I would run an offset RDS for my red dot or HWS.

cheap rip off
Is this a thirst trap?
Honestly I never understood a big heavy rail just for a flashlight like most people Do. Plastic works very well, very lightweight, durable, works well with heat, don’t need gloves all the time. I’m all for cheaper and functional.
Good shit, back in march of 2019 i bought a factory built 13.7 patrol. That bein said, im still runnin that same gun to this day as my main rig. No granted, it looks nothing how it did when i got it, and a shit ton has been done inside and out on it. BUT! the gun has never failed me, since 2019, its had alot of different shit on it and to say i know this gun now is an extreme understatement. This thing is an extension of my body now, its my happy place and all the dudes that run with me has seen its transformations over the years and have seen first hand how capable it is. They've seen the work ive put into it and myself as a shooter and how ive gotten even better. Why is that? Because i cant put it down and i dont even have the want to build another rig now. Its that fuckin good of a rifle, thanks for the video man, really takes me back to how my rig started and how "simple" it was then and how much of a true fighting stick its become. God bless brotha from ole Carolina.
Great tip! Thanks!
What does the gun weigh?
I did and was not impressed by the VIP program. After registering and seeing the price difference it was nice of course... when seen next to MSRP. Googled the Black 2.5MOA non NV direct mount and it was like $20 less than multiple internet sites including Amazon.
“ Commie’s don’t surf “ 😂😂😂
What kind of pants are those ?
They look like crye combat pants.
Please tell me the name/brand of those pants bro.
They look like crye combat pants
Thank you. I will look into that brand
What size are those iron sights? I have a P226 with the DPP and can’t find iron sights to cowitness
I am assuming you have had the trigger weight moved up to 4 pounds pull , not the 2 pounds this model usually comes with
it's funny how many good shooters I've heard talk about touching a round off early when shooting a 2011 for the first time. It definitely do be like that! Lol..
We just got approved for Staccatos pretty recently and went through our train the trainer transition course. Out of a group of 12 we had two XCs, both of which had issues (one almost constant issues). We also had a few of the Ps choke pretty bad (in a very small sample size which was concerning). My P model took about 5-600 rounds to stop having issues, with 6 malfunctions in that time period using only duty ammo. 600-1200 rounds I did not have any issues, but I'm personally not carrying mine on duty and was pretty disappointed in the whole experience. Which sucks because I do like the way they shoot, but I just have a hard time trusting them after that.
Great vids been interested in the xc as a edc gun.
Pretty sure I attended a class with you 2023 in Bossier. Working on affording an XC for duty in the next few months.
Tee’s class? Hell yeah. I’m gonna be honest my guy. The XC is really a flex. The P will suit your needs fine. You won’t get caught lacking if you’re “only running a P”.
Anyone seen any Simple Jacks still available?
Nice pickup! Thinking about one myself, got the CS for carry about 6 months ago. XC has 8 lb recoil spring and P has 11 lb, I think. Congratulations!
What are the trigger and recoil spring specs for duty use?
P trigger and 9lb spring
Ayo AT - would you mind do a run down of your belt setup? Digging that horizontal rifle mag placement.
Sure no problem!
I also just order one for a future duty gun last week. Great call on the XC man!
But what does Terry think about the XC?
Terry so jelly gonna call him Jerry
Making perfect sense
My wife had spent the last 2 years asking anytime it was brought up “ why did you spend 2500$ for the staccato P”. I finally got her to shoot it recently. She turns to me and first thing she says is “ ok, now I understand “.
Yea get a piece of shit plastic handguard to cut on costs 🤣🤣 Nevermind barrel harmonics or just the fact that its a piece of shit plastic handguard. There is a reason SOCOM wanted to ditch the m4 and go for a free floating rail design. It's not 2003 anymore FFS Don't listen to this clown you can get a BCM MCMR for 135 bucks or many other light weight free floating handguards that are miles better than this plastic toy he's using. In fact lets cut on costs and get a garbage barrel and bolt too, hell those arn't important. LMAO
You don't know anything about barrel harmonics... just a parrot.
Then buy the BCM rail, swap it out, quit bitching and shoot the damn gun.
You don’t know what you’re talking about, unnecessary weighted junk just for a flash light is special, plastic also does better with heat, cheap stuff works sorry.
This is what I did on my SOLGW/Sage NV setup
My first Sons rifle was a 13.7" patrol SL, a most excellent entry level blaster. Sold the upper to a friend and form1'd the lower. I now have a Sons m476 13.9" and two Sons 11.5" SBR's. It's definitely a bad habit I'm okay with. And a 1,000 bonus AT SNAP points awarded for the use of bifurcated.
You’re promoting the SOLGW Simple jack and start off by saying why you have a basic plastic hand guard and it’s because you don’t need a laser so no rail is needed but then you put that stupid wanna be GBRS mount on and talk about getting a laser for it. I think it would be a better business model to not speak about a laser at all and ditch the mount for a laser. And I used a BCM MCMR9 rail which fits perfectly with SOLGW 13.7 FS post barrel.
This is a good light setup!
All of my SOLGW guns have been bulllet-proof and folks should know they do all the little things like using the best pins and springs. These are straight up duty/gtw guns. Church AT🤙
Not a bad option for a truck gun. Shorter and lighter weight, and don’t have to worry about pistol/sbr laws (nonsense).
so does a 13.7 fall into the sbr category or does the overall length determine that??
It is a 16"!
The patrol just seems to be the ultimate work gun
What red dot are u running on this rifle ?
Damn must be light as hell nice
Huge solgw fan but I do have an honest question. Is it actually lighter to have a plastic handguard/fsb vs similar length free-float rail/low pro gas block?? I built a similar build with a similar mentality a few years ago and it's definitely my heaviest rifle. Given it is a faux dissipator build so it is a couple inches longer and has some extra stuff but it is pretty heavy particularly front heavy
My favorite factory rifle is a 13.7 patrol and it's still my favorite even though I have a 13.7 m4-89
Whoa, what happened to AT? We have an imposter 😂
I rocked something very similar to your "prototype" for 8 months with my 13.7 patrol. Still need an HRF magwell. If I hadn't found a deal on an Omega 9, I'd still be rocking that sl handguard. Nowadays it wears a Troy folding rear sight, Badger/Hodge CH, Geissele SSA, streamlight HLX, the DD Omega 9 and the 403b. Comes in at 9.3lbs with loaded mag. It's the best AR I've owned and I've owned almost all the high end names with the exceptions of KAC & LMT.
I got a few ARs and being in the Infantry I use them a lot. But if I could tell "pre first AR build young me" I'd tell him to get a rifle like yours. That's a nice fuckin rifle man!
Everything you said had a answer to any, whys. Great rifle and purpose driven.
Peace of mind is priceless
Dont fuck with 12, i felt that. Super based🤘
SOGLO SALES SHIT MASKED IN A ROSE. FIGURE IT OUT!
You Puerto Rican?
You didn’t know?
Biggest/cheapest upgrade you can do to a milspec trigger is put a set of JP reduced power springs. ($15) Good looking rifle, the P/W to meet the 16" barrel length makes a handy package. If you have any mechanical abilities you can drill and pin the muzzle device with a piece of drill bit then pay someone to zap it with the TIG. Most plumbers will do it for next to nothing...
I’m just here to to say San Antonio Texas in the house!!!!! Love SOLGW
I absolutely love the setup AT dope ass simple rifle.👍🏾😎
dammit, now i gotta change out my L9 lower lol
"When they were 11, they turned 13 cuz they dont f*ck w/ 12" and this is why I bought a M89.
