So much about this movie made no sense. Ordel is moving contraband weapons all over the place but is having trouble moving his money to himself. Jackie apparently expects to have no trouble moving the money to Spain. Beaumont's dead, Melanie's dead, Louis is dead and Max has no reservations about putting his life on the line by getting involved with ripping off Ordel for a pittance of the loot if he doesn't get offed by Ordel or set up in a double cross by Jackie.

Just imagine if the aliens didn’t have shields when the invasion started the army would of wiped them out in a matter of days Especially the hill scene with the amount of helicopters firing rockets at the tripods it would of been a massacre of the aliens
Even after all these years, this is in my top 10 list of best movies ever made!! So well put together. Phenomenonal actors! You get in real depth of every day fire fighters lives from how they do things at the station to training to battling fires both big and small! Now whenever I see or hear a fire truck blaring it's sirens, I instantly get goosebumps all over and automatically think right back to this movie. If they are going by me during a call, I always whisper "go get em boys and I'm seeing more women as fire fighters too. That's really awesome!!
The vibes, nyc mid 90’s nyc has a republican mayor for once in decades, he’s just made it law for minors to wear a bike helmet, gave the police semi automatic pistols, told the police to get in shape, told them they don’t have to wear a hat anymore. My family just moved to Florida right before this movie came out.

This is also the movie that got me wanting to be a fire fighter for as long as I can remember. Still think about that even though I'm 40 now
