It's the stock GEN3 Mustang pistons and rods.

Best video out there showing the actual latch engaged behind the upright seat with a video camera to show people what you are looking for. Love the idea of the box wrench too. I never thought of that. I blindly reached back there to grab the end to move it to unlatch the seat. Great video.

You don’t have to put in too dead center like push rod ? Placement of pistons can be in any order ?
At the beginning of the video, you want to clock the crankshaft key at the 5 o'clock position. This place the pistons below the deck so there will be no piston to valve contact.
I didn’t know that there was an affordable American made blast cabinet available.
You can get the one from Harbor Freight for 229, but it leaks and just poor quality. You pay what you get. I would say this is affordable.

What is the best vehicle to swipe the coyote from?
The best or the cheapest? The best coyote would be the Mustang GEN3 IMO. Some people would say GEN2. The cheapest would be a GEN1 F150. You can find them at the pick and pull and Facebook marketplace cheap now.

Is the rear knuckle and arm a stock thunderbird setup, Or is that also mark 8 ?
The rear knuckles are a stock set up of the 89-98 Tbird,Cougar and Mark. The Tbird and Cougar had iron lower arms and the mark had the aluminum.

Yes, you would need to pull the radiator, fan, front accessories and any hose or harnesses in the way. You should have enough room to work
What would the live data look like if the accelerator pedal was bad?
You have to check the values when you're depressing the pedal. They need to match the throttle body. If they are off it's either a bad throttle body, pedal or wiring.

Great video, Question on the tailgate liner, What is the difference between the factory torx screws that are removed, and the ones supplied? Are they longer? I am installing a used liner that came without hardware.
I believe there are about the same length. There is a washer type of hardware that goes over it before screwing in the torks bolt.
How did that much crap get into that cylinder?
Running rich can foul up the piston with carbon build up.

I have a brand new 23 f150 xlt and I noticed that the engine splash cover is not there… is this normal??? I can see the pulleys and belts…
That is unfortunately normal. You need to buy a RCI skid plate or something similar.

Got a good deal on a Gen 3 long block. Can I just swap Gen 1 timing components and be good? I don't really see people doing 3-3-1 builds for some reason
I’m not an expert but you should be good. Take this with a grain of salt but people use gen 2 heads because they flow the best, however since you have a gen 3 long block you should be able to just slap gen 1 timing components and call it a day.
I would do 3-2-1. Gen3 shortblock, gen2 heads, gen1 timing components. The gen2 heads were developed around the 302 Boss coyote and flow similar. Make sure you get some oil pump gears and arp hardware. Can't go wrong, you're already there.
Gen 3 heads have a provision for the HP Pump that’s why.

They make a tool to remove the bushing ( and housing) off the top of the rear. Much better than the way you removed them (air chisel & metal BFH).

Hey what coupler did you use to attach the steering rod to the manual steering rack? I have a mark viii going to be doing similar build to yours but with a standard 5.0 coyote / aje k member and manual steering. Will be following your build for sure! Surprised you’re doing something very similar to what I want. I already have the qa1 coilovers and removed my sway bar. Going to be installing the manual rack next.
I have a custom DD steering shaft and joint. With my new LT headers Ill be doing something different. So I haven't figured it out yet. That's awesome! Id like to see your set up.

It depends on what block you're using. Gen1 and 3 are 12mm bolts. You don't have to use arp. TTY bolts are fine too.

Torque To Yeild. This are onr time uee bolts. You have to throw them out after you take them off the engine. The head bolts, cam cap bolts, main bolts, crank, oil pump, etc.
