I always liked the UA Transamerica Circle logo one of my favorite logos along with Warner's Big W logo. It is featured on the blu ray of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly from Kino Lorber from 2017. 20:55 You forgot to mention that the Transamerica T logo was designed by Depatie-Freleng who also made shorts that UA was distributing at the time (The Inspector, Pink Panther, etc). A late-1960s (68-69) boring metallic in the 1968 Transamerica T logo at its worst 😆 I always loved the fancy Transamerica byline used in the 1967 United Artists "UA Transamerica Circle" logo.

As of 2024, the classic golden shield has returned.

There's one thing you forgot to mention in the "What the Future Holds for the Logo", at the around 2021 onwards MGM logo was updated. This time the MGM logo is now in CGI. Also around this time, Amazon was acquired to MGM. Lastly, two years later in 2023 the Amazon byline was added. Also, not to mention, there's also a variant of the 2021 MGM logo, there's a variant that has the "60 Years of Bond".

There's also some Warner Bros. logos that you forgot to mention in this video, there's the blue WB shield without a banner. This logo was used from 2020 to 2021. There's also the 2021 & 2023 Warner Bros. logos, first one previous logo from 2020-2021, the second one from 2021 and third one from 2023 with the current WB shield with a banner. There's also a new fanfare playing over with the 2021 logo, plus the silent and the opening theme plays over the logo as well. Lastly, Warner Bros. Pictures has two bylines: "A WarnerMedia Company" & "A Warner Bros. Discovery Company". As far I know, I'm hoping Warner Bros. should be parted ways with Discovery, Inc. in the foreseeable future.

EDIT: Just saw the post-script, so the acknowledgement is relieving to hear - I'll still keep the original comment up though, since the original remark comes first in the video, and I wasn't the only one who got an impression to the contrary on a first viewing. ORIGINAL COMMENT: Worth mentioning as an aside to this recent situation, since they were brought up as an example and I'm rather concerned that Hobbes' mention of them gives off the impression of being rather behind the times - the individual formerly known as George Raccoon (now Horus Tome) was welcomed back after it became clear to many people in the SCC that the evidence that got them chased out was flimsy at best and reeked of being blown out of proportion at the behest of Vivian/Channel Gray (a person whose predatory rap sheet extended to real life) at worst. The latter trait ended up being bolstered when Horus finally gave their side of the story like I hoped they would when the accusations first broke. That aside, really appreciated the video - it was refreshingly mature and well-thought-out, particularly compared to the disingenuous babbling of certain unscrupulous individuals we've had to put up with over the past few years. A part of me was honestly worried it'd be a vague, insincere GWS/Deed-esque narcissism-fest, but that's at least partly on me for underestimating the individual behind the only good SCC rant of the MSkull era. Stay safe, Hobbes - if anyone would know how much more important IRL stuff is than niche online hobbyism, it would be me.
