Why athletes shouldn’t use nicotine - new data explained by Dr. Betsy Grunch

Olympic athletes with a nicotine habit, beware. New Brock-led research has found nicotine consumption-whether smoking, chewing, vaping or even wearing a patch-raises the risk of developing heat exhaustion while undergoing intense physical activity, especially when doing so in a hot environment. “Nicotine exacerbates exertional heat strain in trained men: A randomized, placebo-controlled, double...

Your answer is you cannot draw representation because they are the same and that is your explanation.
Trick question. Their equal.
But the ratio is the same! The fraction itself does not change and 2/3 is the same as 4/6. This math question is really over here trying to compare apples and oranges.....
They are desperately trying to make math NOT White Supremacy. If you love him, take your son out of public school. TODAY.
Yall so funny!! Love it!! The doggie in background too!! 😂😂😂😘💕🙋🏼♀️
That's not a math problem, that's a goofy riddle!
2/3 of a 12" pizza is not equal to 4/6 of a 6" pizza.
2/3 is the same as 4/6. This is simple math, and a school should know this. Dividing something into 6 parts and removing 4 of those parts is in effect, removing 2/3.
My junior high shop teacher told us all the time, " reduce all fractions, reduce all fraction" Guy made a song of it.
Dad here. When my kids come home with this kind of math homework, I draw a big X on it and write “this is NOT math”and leave my phone number for teacher to call me. Teachers have yet to call.
Logic/ Word Problems yes Math? NOOOOO In 3rd grade? Only there to prove “YOU do Not Know it ALL! See? U cant answer my question.” NOT Helpful in 3rd grade
Its not equivalent in the way the two fraction look. Thats all I can come up with. 😮😮😮
First, if you change it to millimeters and multiply it by question 3 and then add Q, you should be able to change reality. Simple. 😂
They made up the new math to make people dumb, thank obama for that
WE LOVE YOU GABE!!!!!!
The only way to make sense to me is if you're talking about 2/3 of one thing and 4/6 of something else entirely
Once I went to my daughter's school one night to attend something (don't remember what) and in the classroom I saw that in one of those math posters that they have hanging on the wall; there was a error in the equation. Confused, thinking I was wrong, I asked the teacher, and she confirmed that in fact, it was an error. Then I asked her why she didn't fix it or didn't take the poster down, she said she'll do. She never did. So, yeah, sometimes textbooks have errors.
If you take a round piece of wood and you cut it into thirds it will match, if you keep cutting it you lose the width of the saw blade with every cut. The more cuts the less material you have.
The question left out critical information and was misleading.
Draw s square same size. On dividide in 3 the other in 6. Now cover 2 in the first and 4 in the latter. So you have 2 parts and 4 in the other
🤣🤣🤣 I love this video n his attitude
I live 2 minutes from Duke hospital in Durham NC. ❤
I miss the person I was before I watched this video
Such great smiles, seems like people are happy to work there! I am also impressed with the impromptu " choreography ", everyone was great!
Math teachers should never compose written questions. Their language is foreign to us mere mortals. What is a concept? A Star Wars holodeck??
Wow
This should be an in class demonstration, not a homework question for third graders.
2/3 of an apple is not equivalent to 4/6 of the empire state building?
Answer is chair
Thats called democrat math
There are 3 apples and you can eat 2 of them(2/3). There are 6 apples and you can eat 4 of them(4/6). In one scenario, you can eat only 2 apples. In the other scenario, you can eat 4 apples. Both scenarios, you can eat 2/3 of the apples, but in the second scenario, you can eat 2 more apples than you could in the first scenario.
Maybe the 2/3 identifies as 4.5/6... dod you ask its pronouns?
It's a trick question. The answer is 2/3 is always equal to 4/6, BUT, if you represent it by slicing two cakes accordingly however 1 cake is very big and the other is small, then, the proportional amount is the same but the quantitative amount is different.
NOT a Math Question! Especially not for a 3rd grader who has been Told it is Math - NOT Logic/ Word problems. No this belongs in high school!
Is this a trick question where the answer is "You cant" and then the child is expected to show why you cant?
It would be different if you were operating from 2 different sized “wholes.” 2/3 of the population of Detroit would be different than 4/6 the population of Denver. 2/3 of a 14 inch pizza is different than 4/6 of an 18 inch pizza. My guess is the question asks them to think about having identical wholes.
If there's only 3 peices than it can't be 4/6 because theres only 3 peices. Easy to understand
This isn't by coincidence, they are breaking logic
The answer is 2/3 is 4/6. They can't change it. Numbers don't lie. They are idiological
The only "mathematical" correct answer is that a musical 2/3 measure is not the same as a 4/6 measure (as far as I can think off anyway). In the reasoning of the teacher they are making a classical error in forgetting the rules off erased equals. When doing basic math, we allways assume a base quantity off "1" is being used (that is the first lesson in "higher" math). So, "1" x 2/3 = "1" x 4/6 Which is correct. An easier example is 2/3 off 1 inch equals 4/6 off 1 inch: 2/3"=4/6" To make it a little more general: 2x/3=4x/6 So this teacher made it: 2x/3 is not equal to 4y/6 or 2y/3 Meaning x does not equal y. In which x is a quarter pint off liquid and y is half a pint off liquid, which is saying 1/4 off a pint is not the same as 1/2 a pint or 1/4 does not equal 1/2. Worse even: a quarter pint off water is not the same as half a pint off wine (though for Jesus that would not be any different to the former). Differently but mathematically correctly: 2/3 a pint off jellyfish equals 4/6 a pint off lettuce. As both are 95% water we could mathematically round that up to 100% water, giving: 2/3 pint water = 4/6 pint water <=> 2/3 pint jellyfish = 4/6 pint lettuce What the teacher then did wrongly was take away the measurement off scale on both sides and treating it as still being the same: 2/3 pint jellyfish = 4/6 pint lettuce <=> 2/3 jellyfish = 4/6 lettuce Which makes you a moron if you think the last statement is correct.
Yes, If you only think about the amount of the surface, it is always the same. But the word "representations" chanches all. In 4/6 representatin, the actual surface in more different maners! Get it? Sorry for my english
You look ridiculous in those glasses
Id say its the question thats asking (how) can u draw representations and the answer is you cant draw representations of that. they are the same every time. So in my opinion question answered and explained.
Seen this before. If I recall correctly the expected answer is something like 2/3 of a 7" pizza is not the same as 4/6 of a gallon of hubris.
My mind went to statistics describing the same group. Like 2/3 of a random group of people have blonde hair, and 2/3 of them have blue eyes but they are not entirely the same group as the blonde people. The difference in the interpretation of the ratio is just a trick in this case.
I did maths in my computer science degree and I can confirm 2/3 = 4/6 The question is wrong.
They are equal.
Going with “Still a typo” but I get it. And I discard it 😂
It’s a TYPO
Easy. They are not equal because sometimes 4/6 doesn't identify as 2/3. 😂
Only the dr tells the results of test it’s there job
Draw 3 circles. Shade two of them in. Count the number of shaded circles. There are only 2 of them. There are only 3 in total. This is not 4 and not 6.
