Watching videos like these makes me want to learn how to program just to see if I could be able to mod the game to at least not be the buggy mess it is. I’ve also had the thought of rewriting SwSh, but a rewrite for SV is something I haven’t thought of before.

It seems that when 3rd party developers get a hold of a well known game all for the sole purpose to capitalize, they just go bleh on their version and flat out make it worse.

1:14:00 these list menus are really annoying. my little sister who doesn’t know English can’t know which option to choose since it’s all written instead of, I don’t know, shown via pictures? Which would make much more sense for selecting A POSE. I’d imaging it’s also a problem for kids who know English but just can’t read yet.

TBH I never liked the music of RCT 3. Didn't have the same charm, no personality. Great game though if I don't look at it as an RCT game. Micromanagement was much improved over 1 and 2

I’m pretty sure there’s actually two versions of the revelation mountain theme in the games files. I think. I don’t think one of them plays in game at all though. They also sound almost exactly the same so it’s even stranger (although I’m the best at picking out specific notes and melodies in music so I would have to play them side by side to check)

I really like the scene with the partner at the end of the boss fight. I think it plays into one of super’s big themes, that being acceptance. And also it is pretty similar to a scene at the end of the game, right after the final boss. Just something I noticed. Also don’t get me started on Roblox. Gacha games are bad, but oh boy Roblox is somehow worse.

the situation with rct 3 as far as I can tell is that Frontier got the rights for rct 3 and published rct 3 complete edition but earlier this year atari bought it back for $7m

Couldn’t believe they never made RCT4 in like 2007-2008 with PC strong and Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 doing well at the time. In reality, this should be a huge series now with groundbreaking games. You should be able to create something along the lines of Walt Disney World with multiple parks, restaurants, hotels, and various infrastructure. It should be an open world game with the graphics of a Red Dead Redemption 2. That’s where the series should be now and it would be a game that would never end, you could always change it up, play online with friends, share creations. I wish they would make a video game like how I described. Now they just prostitute the RollerCoaster Tycoon name. They really missed the boat on some huge money with this one.

Kudos to Frontier for preserving RCT 3 through the complete edition after gaining the rights to it. They could've easily just replaced it with Planet Coaster and buried it as abandonware, but it's available and I've had my fun with it.

So fun fact. I got diamond when it recently came out, back when I was living in Florida. I was super excited because it was the first game dad got me after receiving my first ds lite for Christmas earlier. It wasn't my favorite pokemon game. But I eventually got platinum. And between soulsilver and platinum, they were the games I replayed the most. I unfortunately no longer have my platinum version. And when I first saw bdsp I was excited because maybe I'd be able to enjoy the remake as I did platinum... Except then I heard of the lack of quality, and content and I was so disappointed I wasn't going to get as great as an experience as soulsilver gave me. So far soulsilver has been and will be my favorite remake solely due to crystal being my first pokemon game and johto being one of my favorite guns more due to nostalgia and aesthetic
