Maybe a dumb question, but what connects the motors so that they don't spin inside the cavity. My wheels arent turning, the motor inside is.

LOL LOL "I like to just tap these off, it seems to work better, ...". ..... "Let's see, ..... sometimes they have clips on these. " LOL LOL DUUH!!!! Dude, that was clear as day. Those ALWAYS have clips on them. You don't "Tap them out", you always LIFT THE CLIP first.

the black cap came off of mine just that there is a metal clip on it and I cant take it off

These gearboxes just basically float mine are sloppy

nevermind..my - wasn't even connected...it had corroded and snapped off. amazing it even held a charge for a little while.

wow i thought i had to buy the battery inside a new case with adaptor..didn't realize the battery was inside until i saw batteries w/ just terminals for sale for half the price. you may have saved me $40

Why does everyone have wire connected directly to their motor? Mine is connected to some kind of board first then the board is connected to the motor. What is that board? No one talks about it. The new motors did not come with a board. I connected the wire straight to the motors and surprise they do not work.

You greased the gear teeth. You need to grease the shafts.

Does it matter that the gearbox isn’t secured to the body/frame? Seems like axle isn’t strong enough to manage the torque. Do you sell mounts or brackets?

I do not recomend to use a power tool to remove screws out of plastic beause of heat. BTW thanks for the tutorial!!
