Am I right in saying that the audio with the DJI mic to connected to the action 4 via Bluetooth is a little bit lower quality than if you use the receiver? Does the pocket 3 have a built-in receiver for the DJI mic? 2. Or is it through Bluetooth as well? Cheers.

Good test. I myself just switched from Rode Wireless Go to Godox because it has more settings than my previous one but the main reason is weight and form factor. The fact that it then has a significantly longer battery life is also a big plus. I always film myself and have two microphones to choose from so the power never runs out. The only minus is that it is so small that you are afraid to lose it. I use Gopro Hero 11 and setting powered microphone and Godox in volume mode 3, if I go higher I think the distortion becomes clearly noticeable. In editing, I increase the sound a few decibels and also increase the treble and then it sounds really good. The range is well beyond what is useful when shooting with an action camera and I tested it with my back to it at distances of over 60 meters.

XT1 is good for the money than those over price mic

The GoPro holds the background straight and the person is bobbing up and down, and the X3000 holds the person straight and the background is bobbing up and down. So if you are pointing it at yourself, the X3000 is better, but if you are pointing it in front of you, where you are not in the picture, the GoPro is better.

sorry if I missed this but how do these filters attach to the camera? Do the slip over the existing cover or does the camera cover need to be unscrewed first and then the filter screws on the camera? I am interested in recording my motorcycle trips and I want something that secures firmly on the camera, by screwing them on, in order not to get them flipped by the strong air current.

I gotta say, you are very misleading: nothing in the image changes except the shutter speed. The image doesn't become nicer just because you've put a an ND filter. The only thing is "correct" motion blur and it comes with 2 important points: 1. people all over the world are shooting with smartphones and they have accepted fast shutter speed, I'd say that only CZcamsrs reviewing ND filters care about that, nobody would notice 2. and the reason for that in this specific video is simple - it has no motion. If there is no motion, there is no point in correct motion blur. The only motion we saw was you waving your hand. So my point is - in this specific video with these filters we should see zero differences between just using a shutter speed of 1/800s and an ND filter. VND might give you some changes in the rendering of the sky because VNDs are polarising filters by nature, but true ND filters are called neutral for a reason - they just change the exposure, with no colour cast nor any other changes to the image. And when you say that clouds looks nicer - you could have achieved the same effect by setting exposure compensation in auto mode

I shoot a lot of night footage and the X3000 optical stabilisation is still king for night scenes. It kills me that Sony haven't made a decent cam since the X3000. We can dream they will once again enter the market.

Hello everyone!. I think it might be good with a little explanation about this video, someone has complained that the colors are a bit off when I use the ND filter for my Dji Action 4. I will therefore explain a little, this is actually my fault. I should have set White balance in the camera and not have it in auto. The same applies to ISO, this is too wide. Therefore, the camera is constantly changing, and this causes changes in the colors. I have considered whether to take down the video. But this also shows that mistakes can be made. This is what we learn from. The quality of the ND filters from K&F Concept is top notch. So I've decided to make a new video. For now, this will be out.

music was WAY too loud and your voice was too quiet. looks like the filters are adding a bit of a yellow color. image looked much better without any ND. i will not be getting this brand. thank you for saving me some money. i think there are some other filters available for the action 4. i might be getting one in a few weeks, waiting to see what DJI announces soon. thank you again.

Would not use ND-filter on any action cameras, mostly because it will cause so many troubles with stabilization. But if the camera is stationary it could work.

Besides, the image in Ace pro looks like the HDR option is on. I have this camera and somehow the shadows on the face are more visible than in this video. Either you set something wrong on purpose, or "accidentally", or updates have changed this camera.

Ace pro has focus only from about 0.5m, which is its disadvantage for shots like in 9:40. You can't get a shot like in 9:40 without using the zoom option. So the lower focus is due to two things: the camera is too close, and in Action the focus is raised higher than in Ace. However, I suspect the intention to raise Action 4 higher - maybe there was a little sponsorship of this review.

I want to buy action 2 for compact size But my major concern is it stops recording in 4k 120 fps in indoor and my major use would be indoor shooting. So I'm in dilemma between these two which one should I purchase??
