I love that you guys have actually been pronouncing every name of city / town 100% correctly so far. Haven't sabotaged anything like other tourists ahah. will be watching your whole albania journey vids. Also, the locals do believe the thermal baths have healing properties bc my aunts always go there whenever they feel unwell for prolonged periods lolol.

Amazing drive through a truly beautiful country , funny but true story I did the same in kosovo as I forgot to pay a bar bill but did so when I returned to U.K. . I felt awful and almost like a thief at the time lol you sorted it and in life things happen so maybe you can laugh now . Great video but the driving out there is insane , catch you in a week and a half as we fly to Corfu Friday morning flight 6.55 from Luton , cheers and loving the channel

Loved, loved this video! My husband loves to drive and with his bit of ADHD hyperfocus he's unstoppable, lol! Ya know, it's an easy thing to do, forgetting to pay, especially when they're not asking you for it! Try not to feel bad, it wasn't your intention, and you'll make it right. Thanks for showing the realities! Can't wait to visit that site at Apolonia (?), I hope I have that right. You get as excited as me for OLD things! I just love all that history and that it's been there for THAT long. Incredible. Thanks for another great video! ❤

Foreigners are addicted to Hoxhe's bunkers, but they don't see how rich Albania is in history. For example: God Zeus punished Promethe for his broken promise by chaining him to that big stone in Permet city. The name Permet is understood as; prem e the, broken word or broken promise because Promethe promised to protect the good people who lived on the mountain of Tomorri, the mountain of the good people near Berat whose country was destroyed by the enemy.

You know there is a problem with Albanian lek! As it says 500 on the paper, but people say 5000! I don’t know how to explain in here. So I think the parking would have been 500 lek not 5000.

@conniecrew2585 it is definitely such a shame. We always try and leave places a bit better than when we arrived e.g. bringing some rubbish with us. Our meal cost 1980 lek (£16.80/ $21.30/ €19.70), this is quite a bit more than other non-coastal places such as Berat and Tirana where you could easily get a good quality meal for 2 for around 1200lek (£10.20/ $13/ €12)
