Relationship building for actors
Your job as the actor is to build a relationship with the character, then build relationships with your scene partner, then build relationships with your agents, then build relationships with the other actors.
You’re constantly building relationships.
So your job is attunement.
Can I pay attention to what’s in front of me, the environment, the other actors, the script and let myself be affected by it.
You’re attuning first.
You’re listening first to the script.
You’re not imposing anything of yourself on the script.
You have to listen first.
You have to listen to what the writer or writers are telling you and how that lands in your sensations and emotions, and your meaning channel and your senses and then you build connection.
Just like how you build connections in the room with each other, through resonance or feeling different, you’re gonna do the same with your character.

Thank you for uploading this piece. I haven’t heard it. I’m now in tears again. We have lost her from this world. She was not of this world but it would have been so lovely to see her grow older with us. Is anyone able to tell me which album this song is on? I keep listening to her and watching her as if it might keep her here. I can’t imagine how her family feel. Such a wrenching grief.
This beautiful song, "One More Day," is on the soundtrack to the movie Veronica Guerin as well as another called "The Funeral." I'm not sure if it's on any of Sinead's studio albums. Peace to you.
