Rainbow Falafel - Classic Falafel in New York City - Middle Eastern Food- Vegetarian
We ate at Rainbow Falafel right off of Union Square in Manhattan, NY. They have a great vegetarian falafel sandwich as well as many other Middle Eastern Dishes. Their specialties that we enjoyed were shawarma, falafel and spinach pie. This restaurant is great for a quick vegetarian bite or a hungry NYU student. This is a great out of the way spot.

We went inside of one of NYC's best kept secrets, Streecha Ukrainian Kitchen. Streecha is hidden in the basement under a chiropractic office. They serve Pierogi, Borscht, Stuffed Cabbage and Kielbasa. The food was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable. The prices are kept low because the food is meant to feed the attendees of a local church after service. Streecha's hours may vary so ma...

You got the pistachio mint lime thingy there huh?
$29.99 for a bowl of ramen is the exact reason i refuse to go to NYC.
1:02 this view doesn't exist anymore, new skyscraper is being built in front of the empire state building!
Easy on the sugar honey, they tell me I'm sweet enough.
oh boy, day old deep fried grease
My new idea locations in west Virginia, nc, sc, ky, and Jacksonville
I've never seen a Italian sausage corn dog.
That fryer is dirty
Very nice , at what time did you go at? was it early morning or all day?
Will they let you buy a whole tuna? Just curious
That's heaven! Italians sausage is not just one of my favorite foods but favorite things ever!! O pizza, on a roll or served with pasta and even served with mashed potatoes you can never go wrong with the !!
Looks like a shopping mall! What a joke!
Gorgeous
The line for Lucy’s zeppoles was like 2 blocks long when I went to the San Genero Feast last Friday night. My mother and I had dinner inside this restaurant named "Da Nico’s'. The food was great but the service was so inattentive, prob bc it was packed. We waited an hour just for our pizza after our calamari appetizer. If we didn’t remind them, they would have forgot about us. But we met and became friends with a nice Italian middle aged couple who sat at the table next to us and we ended up connecting our 2 tables together, and they shared their dessert with us, compliments of the owner, who the couple personally knew. The dessert was fruit, and zeppoles, (and some were perfectly bite sized and were so delicious!) After dinner my mom wanted to get Lucy's zeppoles, she brings home a few dozen every year for the family. I told her to just buy them from the restaurant to save time plus the ones we had at Da Nico's were amazing. But she insisted on Lucy's zeppoles, it's a tradition. But I don’t know what all the hype is about is Lucy's. Maybe they lost their Lsecret touch, but I didn't care for them that much. I highly recommend Da Nico’s zeppoles over Lucy’s any day. They were 10 out of 10.
The Best!
No way that bowl is worth $25
Pizza is incredible. It's so crisp and light. WANT that dough recipe. RIP, Andrew.
It's on a the Pizzamaking forums!
I saw they had fried calzones, that was my favorite treat when going to Italian Feasts as a kid. I make them at home now but not nearly as good as I remember.
For fried doughs you need to use fresh yeast. Although same strain as dried it’s a completely different flavor. You notice the effect on flavor in fried products the most because of the moisture retained. Dry yeast, instant or active dry, both give bitter flavors that you don’t really notice in baked products. all the old professional dough recipes only used lard not oil and fresh yeast. And make sure your salt content is accurate. For most professional bread dough recipes the salt amount is 3% the weight of the flour. Under seasoned dough could also be a problem.
I appreciate you taking the time to write this. I certainly haven't measured my salt quite accurately, I will do that next time i make them as well as using fresh yeast. I will let you know how it went! @@Jgame95
"aahhh vamo a trabajar cono..." lmao

Fideos para la Eternidad
Great video and the food looks amazing…
Not real Ramen used to work there its frozen not fresh lol the broth is made up of crushed cow heads 🤮🤮🤮
Can someone tell me what size proofing pan use the pizza boy? (8 or 9 inches?)
How much $$$ was it?? Its crazy how much more expensive it is compared to Japan
It was $18.90 for the ramen and $5.00 for the topping set. This was a no tipping restaurant.
tourist trap tons of ramen shops in NYC with reasonable pricing
@@Sniperyetieh not really this is really good fucking ramen and yeah it’s a bit expensive but as someone who lives in the hood it’s something that other cheaper places can’t match. The flavor is valid and everything about it makes it worth it. I wouldn’t call this a tourist trap. Too many locals.
Nice
The cheese under the sauce. Not the other way around. Few understand this.
"La concha de la lora, ganamo´el mundial!!!" Seeeeee, todos dijimos lo mismo!!!!!!!!!
So how is the business in the winter and cold months ?
I actually think it's ok. This has been here for a long time
Good old fashioned Italian-Asian
Where do you get the "Old World" pepperoni at?
Dam good looking pie
Pies and lies ....ON THE WALL was funny
My kinda pie 🥧
A guy making a pizza. Boring. And no tasting or review of how it was. That vodka sauce was too much. It looked okay without it. Maybe on the side for dipping. Thank goodness for FF to skip to the end. 👎
They all looked very good, but those Sicilian slices! Lions, Tigers AND Bears (oh my) xD
Holy cow that Vodka slice looks like heaven on a paper plate. My mouth is watering xD
Yum!
Pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza!
There are no rules in the pizza game
😂
Sausage and onions doesn't sound so appealing I guess...
Looks so tasty!!
Am I only dreaming, or is this burning an eternal flame?
Can you see the transition? Or am I that good at editing now? I learned how to make never ending videos.
very good 👍
Too small, too expensive ( and please don't tell me it's because it's in Manhattan!), and too thin. If you're gonna charge me $4 you're gonna have to stop skimping on the dough for one and make the slice thicker, like it used to be, and put more cheese and sauce. But as long as the "public" continues consuming out of unneeded necessity, these people will never get my business no matter how hungry I am! I would rather starve to death at this rate!! Give back Manhattan to the common everyday people!✊🏼✊🏼
