Why are the game generated townies always gray!? They're either gray or that ugly pinky/pale skin tone. I think over the years, there's been 4 or 5 townies attractive enough for me to give make-overs and keep lol.

What if I don't want to generate the same townies from one save file into another? It seems like if it pulls from #mccc_include, there's no way to designate which townies are for which save file.

i hope this helps with my medieval save…i hate seeing random modern sims walking around.

Can I not just turn it off entirely?

I noticed that some of them are importing with the same clothes and everything but sometimes they even split up the households, and give themselves different aspirations and traits. How do I make it so they cannot do this?

This works! What I did is label all of my test sims. Like Jason TestSim1 or TEST SIM1 (whatever you choose). That way when they start showing up in-game, I could see if I did it correctly. YEP! First one was in the restaurant as a waiter :) Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Does anyone know how to stop clones? I have the same name thing off but once they go and get married and change their name, their old young adult self with their old last name for example, will be imported back into the game. HELP! & I’ve made like 50 sims?

So, my limit for sims is 80 so should I remove the ones I dont want and replace for new ones or what? Sorry, im kinda stupid

Wicked Whims also lets you see townie information. Although it isn't quite as easy to read as the MCCC menu.

I want to make a save file just for San Mayshuno, with only Adult / Young Adult sims. This feels more fitting for city life imo. BUT, then I start to wonder about the sims required for the other worlds… I’d stick mainly to San Myshuno, but for “travel” worlds, I’d need sims there as well😅 man. This is overwhelming.

Thank you for this guide, but do you know if there's a mod that allows me to assign NPCs actual playable careers? One of my issues is that when I join a career, my sim has no coworkers, and I would love if there was a quick method to choose random townies to join that career without needing to manually play them and join the career.

not helpful at all, eventually you run outtve customized sims to take up these positions and then your game starts generating the rando potatoes again, so this is a temporary fix, not a solution EDIT: the time has come ladies and gentlemen, a working no townie mod has been found for now, zeros no random mod has now got a completed version of the no random mod that was in testing and so far im far from disappointed, it comes as a combination of the no random mod and the roles filler mod that allows you to personally select which sims youd like in each role, ive coupled this with lotharihoes's sim spawn overhaul mod and together they have achieved perfection in my game, completely no townie spawning

Ive done everything but some of my sims spawn as the wrong age , someone helppp

I did this and it helped me a bunch but now it spawns each sim from the gallery multiple times, it's really annoying :((
