New ROV aids underwater search and rescue efforts
ROV, stands for remote operated vehicle, and it's the newest tool to help the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol Unit in search and rescue. The Oceanbotics SRV-8 has eight thrusters to yank objects stuck in deep mud, a claw that extends and tightly grips, and a sonar that can detect the slightest crack in the hull of a major ship. You can find these drones studying sea life on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia or helping with recovery in the Arctic.

Fffttt😂
Situational awareness is HUGE. You have to be aware of where you are at all times, even walking to your car from your home. Not victim blaming at all, but assume the worst of all people.
how much i buy
Honestly could be sold to support officers in some way...
I see a lot of sporting shotguns and shotgun barrels and a handful of pistols. The gangsters don't rob with long barreled shotguns, but they got to go to the cooker to make everyone feel safer.
Wonderful! Thank you for showing this! We are safer for these being confiscated and destroyed.
👏👏👏
We are safer because guns that weren't being used for violence were destroyed?
Disgusting.
Hola buenos días un emigrante puede tener un permiso de arma

Could you please explain me.. What are the components were mixed together for the white as well as black powders?
Members of the Biden Crime Family should be in that jail.
I highly encourage your department to immediately dispatch the fire department well your dispatcher still on the phone with the reporting party!!! Every second counts!!! This is coming from a fire captain in the big city department!!! I noticed from your department video that the reporting party calls 911. Your dispatcher answers the phone THE caller states there’s smoke coming out of a garage attached to a home immediately my recommendation would be dispatch the fire department, well still on the phone with the reporting party. Every second counts these fires are burning faster, hotter!!! it takes us at a minimum 90 seconds to put all of our protective equipment on that’s not including leaving the station that’s not including the traffic we encounter in route to a structure fire!!! It needs to be dispatched in lightspeed well, you still have the reporting party on the line. Another dispatcher is already assigning the fire department respected resources to the incident!!! Your team is doing an amazing job!!! Thank you!!!
What a great video I enjoy watching your videos keep making great videos I like your videos a lot keep making great videos
Look at that duty belt, all the back injuries of a real Deputy without any of the stories.
Well organized video .....❤
Good video but why was only one engine dispatched to smoke in a garage? When we are dispatched in St. Louis county for a call like that it’s a first alarm. Now the first due engine has his hands full until the other companies arrive. As chief Dick of the Black Jack fire district use to say “better to have them in route and not need them than to need them and not have them”.
Thank you for all you do to keep us safe! 💕 Too bad Hennepin County attorney Mary Moriarty is doing the opposite.

If you live or work in a high crime area drive cars with manual transmissions.
Carjacking is almost always committed by teen males usually working in teams of 4. The carjacker is usually armed with a pistol and his bakup has a semiautomatic rifle and is sitting in the rear passenger side of the car. The other rear passenger also carries a rifle and positions himself on the driver's side of the street while the other rifle carrier positions himself on the right rear side of the target car. No concealed carrying target has yet been successful defending himself from all three armed attackers who never stand close to one another. Once you are knocked down and your car is gone the driver for the carjackers circles back and picks up the armed gunmen. It doesn't take much planning and the how to is easily explained to newbies who are arrested and placed in the best carjacking school of all, the city jail.
Recently I was horrified to learn about Seth's passing. I did not know him in his later years and that his life ended in tragedy because of his pain. My condolences to Seth's brothers and sisters. I know you will all make it through this. While the focus is on removing the substance itself I want to add that being 'positive and mentally supporting' is equally as important in cases such as this. This video was beautifully produced. Thank you Hennepin County for publishing this video. Rest in Peace Seth
I was there in 2018 visiting from California. That fair is AWESOME!!! So much to do, see, and eat. Hell you can even leave with a farm animal.
My friend is a police officer he lost his life on duty there was 6 gunshot one hit him in the leg and one in his arm he died in the hospital that day
😢 I'm so sorry to hear this.
I am very sorry for your loss
The sheriff checking out that hiney at 5:56 lol
wow!
Do we also call 911 when fire alarm is on
Yes, you can and should. In many large buildings (apartments, etc), the fire department will automatically be called if the fire alarm goes off. If not, and you can't figure out why your fire alarm/smoke detector is going off, call 911.
😂😂😂we're deputies..... of course we'll violate your rights... if you let us!!!

Not a bad translation, but there were still a few false cognates in there.

Rip, you didnt deserve this seth🙏🏾
What does and alarm mean
I know this is late, but in this context "alarm" can mean two things. 1: The initial call from the dispatcher to the fire personnel may use the phrase "alarm of fire"; this only means that something is on fire. This is older phrasing, but some agencies may still use it. 2: "Alarms" as measured by the fire crews. This is a measurement of how many firefighters and engines/trucks/etc are required for the particular fire. The "first alarm" will be dispatched with the first report of a building fire; this might consist of a chief, 3-5 fire engines, 1-2 fire trucks and an ambulance. If the chief decides that they need reinforcements, they'll ask dispatch for a "second alarm". This will call several more engines and trucks from a wider area. So on and so forth up to the fifth or sixth alarm, which is the largest that most areas have pre-existing plans for; any fires larger than that will require improvisation.
