With this truck I've had multiple things go wrong or get replaced within the past week of me having it but all is good when we find our own issues and fix them ourselves! 12 colorado here had a lose spot on a junction block that happens to be the most common spot for them to start their issues!! ENJOY!

I recently got rid of my old 2001 Dodge Durango and bought a 2004 Chevy Silverado. Much more videos to come with the Silverado!! How to’s and some instructional stuff!!
So I just got a 98 Durango. I used the key to unlock it and the horn just starts going off….wtf? Why…I undid the negative cable to stop it but when I go to put it back on it just blares.
It sounds like there’s a security issue within the system. If the key has been replaced that may cause it. It could also need to be re programmed to the security module that’s in it. I know there is a way to bypass it completely just been a while since I had to do that. Hope this helps!!

Assuming you removed the bumper for battery maintenance; that's literally the hardest way to do it. Jack the driver's side up, remove wheel, remove plastic fender liner and the battery is easily accessible. Much easier than dealing with the bumber... much easier. However, the reinstall bumper tutorial was quite good.
Thank you! The bumper was removed so i could get better access so i could run a power wire for subwoofers and not have it get tangled up somewhere i didnt want it to. Thanks for watching!
@@haydenmaxfield2289 Gotcha. I'm thinking of relocating the battery to the trunk... or anywhere it's easily accessible. It's ridiculous where chrysler has it now.
I have. 2014 avenger and it had been sitting since the middle of 2015 and I’m just now getting it back on the road. Thanks for the video btw I accidentally ripped the bumper off while it was parked with a lawn mower 😂😂😂

thank you i hate the auto lock at 15 mph.. this worked disabling my 2002 dodge durango 5.9
You can also access the battery by removing the wheel and removing the mudguard Its like a few fasterns and a screw. You can use a socket, extension and wrench to remove both terminals and bracket
take door panells off cut the auto lock wires ,end of problem no more lockouts
Hey man did you have to worry about the airbags?
The air bags never gave me any issues until I got hit head on in an accident. All the work I did on the car I made sure the battery was un hooked to ensure there wasn't any power in the car just to be on the safe side. If your having airbag issues 90% of the time its a clockspring issue where the whole airbag needs replacing. If that's not it its a seat sensor thats located in the seat. Hope this helps you out!!
Hello! Will a 2008 bumper fit a 2012 car? Because the information on sites is different. Some write that the bumper is for 2007-2008, while others for 2007-2014
I have 2012 Dodge Avenger, my 2 Memphis 12s slap, sometime I drop the back seat
That would annoy me, The 15mph auto lock. But the door handle inside auto unlocks when pulled. If it didnt do that, I would have busted something up by now.
why am I being locked in? I have a seat belt. I have window post handles they designed. our passenger side has to have someone else let you out, from the outside!

most aftermarket alarms and remote starts there should be an option that you can disable that
Should of read the manual tells you where it is and you don't have to take the bumper off you just take off the fender wall and turn your wheel to the right bingo not very hard just letting you know for anyone else too
You know by turning the key on off on off on off then on and unlock the doors that it will turn that function off right?
that worked for me for awhile but now it takes more times and its starting to occasionally work or not.

Depending on the vehicle and the year some vehicles have the added feature where if the vehicle is equipped with the heads up unit on the top it usually has settings in there for that feature. I unfortunately was stuck doing what I did because the previous owner I got the vehicle from never wired the remote stater system in correctly so I had more wiring issues then I wanted. Hope this helps!

Okay this may sound like a crazy? But what your putting on is the cover which every car has right ? Cuz I'm trying to replace mine when I Google only the bumper cover comes up.

Why would you take the bumper off to change the battery? You just yake off the tire
I had to take the bumper off too, I had a bigger problem with it since I couldn't do it from just taking the tire off my battery was way too old and all ugly beat up on the terminals and was tough to undo so had to remove it all
Yeah i just took the tire off and the inner fender and done in 10 mins
