Well the protractor sounds great and I also need to get a class set since I don't have enough of the ones I used last year. We don't use protractors until March, however. I don't think we use X and Y quadrants. That's only in 5th grade math and up.

@@teacher_in_houston Okay. Add a class set of protractors to your list in the quantity you need and check the magnetic white board ones since they have several options and pick the one you want. Hope you have a wonderful labor day holiday.

They do! I actually go based on the Teachers Edition but the district said that they want the objectives in more student friendly language.

Yes I did!! My mom had taken one out so I didn't see the other one in another package.

Like on Tpt? I could but honestly I can show a clip on it on my newest video! It was literally two square boxes and two text boxes! 😂

They are still planning on putting the backpacks hooks but it will be a while due to more priority fixes around the building like doors and floors and Air Conditioners. The kiddos have their backpacks on the back of their chairs.

Actually, after labor day, we have to wear the red polo shirts. They let us wear regular clothes for the first two weeks. Kids have to wear uniforms after labor day as well.

Don't worry, I actually did some research and got approved by the nurse with how fast/ slow my lights were. There is a setting on the Govee app that slows down the lights.

The felt sounds like a good idea, but trust that hair and other things stick to them, and they get GROSS. Amazon sells plastic/ rubber caps that are game changers! They can be pricey. However, your wishlist might help.

I did try this my first year but when my custodian comes and mops the floor, the floor dots start to rub off and I had to replace them my first year multiple times before I gave up.

I've seen people use strips of tape where the front legs are supposed to align. You can get floor marking tape that withstands mopping a bit better, but even if you do need to replace the tape, putting a strip down is much faster than dots!

I wanna try tennis balls but we stack the chairs so the custodians can come and clean the room during ancillary, I'm not sure if the tennis balls will prevent the chairs from stacking properly....

We have no paper allowance this year lol. We are extremely budgeting. Some of us even had to pitch in to buy the kids ice cream, 😂. I did ask my parents for 2 reams of paper each so I will see next week if I still need some but I have a good feeling my parents will support!!

It's not completely zero but definitely we have to limit our copying.

I forgot to measure!!

The other printer is working perfectly fine! The school just told me today that they will not provide printer ink for us anymore (budget cuts) and we would have to buy our own toner/ink so I wanted to buy another printer for my classroom because it's cheaper to have HP instant ink. I did have another printer but that one does not print double sided. I was going to bring the HP 6000 in the meantime until I got paid in September so I could buy it.

I did try that at first but unfortunately the cord doesn't reach the power outlet. Plus it sticks out considerably and I end up hitting it more. My legs don't actually touch the printer because it's pretty far back.

We will have a cork bulletin board but with all the repairs going on at the school. They said they won't be able to put the bulletin boards or backpack hooks on the walls until late September/October.

@@teacher_in_houston Okay. Thankyou for the reply. Also, after watching you stand on chairs or tables to hang things on walls, would you like to have a step stool? If so, find one you like and add it to your wish list. Foldable ones are nice for storing out of the way.

I actually have one at home. I brought it to my classroom on Saturday!

@@teacher_in_houston This is something the schools should provide in every room. It seems like every set up video has teachers climbing on furniture even if the chairs are for preschoolers and Kindergarten!

Ah yes agree but unfortunately because we are a title 1 school and a charter school which does get less support from the state, things are just on a budget or not available at the moment.
