I mean, Reload isn't even fulfilling my expectations, ATLUS doesn't seem like they're going all-out too for Reload, the fact that it became ATLUS's fastest selling game made it look like a cash-grab even more. But still the existence of Reload is a good thing so P3 would reach more audiences especially those who doesn't want play an old game. I remember having a gex 3 demo as a kid on another game (idk if it was tomb raider or fighting force) and it had the Christmas level I always wanted to play the full series and in highschool eventually emulated the first game and absolutely hating it that I never went back. Glad to know the series gets significantly better

this video was not made to complain about a video game, it was made to make people angry. this drama you fed is a prime example of the issue with video game communities currently and why everyone is miserable. of course, its not your fault that people think the most important thing in the world is to dislike a video and type some snarky comment, but you fed into drama. you could've made a serious video about your qualms with the remake, but you rage-baited and fed into drama. it just makes the community worse

I honestly didn't enjoy P3R too much. One of my main gripes is how the AI is so bad now? This is unpopular but I prefer not controlling my party members because it just takes way too much time. In the older versions, you can help them with Fuuka's analysis and Tactics but now even if you use those, the baton passes are still shit. I have other complaints but I think you articulated them in the video (though, a bit sharp). They also changed Aki and Mitsuru's fight styles. Mitsuru doesnt have support skills now and Akihiko uses way too much SP. I get that they buffed Junpei and Yukari but I genuinely wish they at least kept the original fighting styles still.

One of my favourite games of all times, i spend countless hours into it! This is an amazing analysis. And knowing that a remaster of the triology is on the way this is gold.

I think some of your points are fine even though I disagree with most of them, but saying that the original Tartarus is better sounds insane to me, the original Tartarus wasn't fun to explore at all, it was pure trash and there was really nothing to explore. The Tartarus is still boring in Reload but it was so much worse in the original, it was so fucking repetitive, uncreative, uninspired and inconvenient - it's a pretty shitty dungeon.

I never played the original and while I know that might somewhat invalidate my opinion on this, I feel like you're being too harsh on the remake. It was definetely adjusted for the modern videogame market, and because of that, also simplified. But, to me it seems there is still a lot of value to be found here, if for nothing else, at the very least for succesfully giving this game another chance to be enjoyed by new audiences. I have to say though, I fully agree with you on the Nyx and dorm design. Both are much better executed in the original.

I agree for the most parts, me personally i had the most problems with new sprites and art style in general, it just looks so flat and emotionless compared to og games, also the lightning and the colour scheme is too flashy and bright as if it was made for tiktok kids, it just looks cartoony, overall eventhough i played only in psp version i enjoyed the visual, voice acting (for the most parts) and tartarus much more, this game feels like resident evil 4 remare which i didnt like either, it's not even because of nostalgia since i completed p3p recently which is like the worst version of p3 lol
