Diesel and payload is not a great combo on the Ram 2500. Keep an eye in it, get weights and compare, empty truck, truck a d empty trailer and then fully loaded. Make your own decision.

A diesel ram 2500 is not a work truck. It’s a princess truck. It has a payload of an F150.

Payload is a manufacturer number that they are required to put on however has nothing to do with actual tow capacity I believe your truck has 6040lb rear axle and a 6000lb front. As long as you are under those numbers you are fine assuming you have rhe right tires. That's why manufacturers say you have a 19000# tow capacity with a 2100# payload they don't use tbr payload. Also as long as you are under your combined total again it will fine

Right front tire break is worn pretty bad. Were they rotated? Alignment issue? I have them on her 23 4rnr. 85 mph on I 10 from south texas to Arizona awesome drive. But my F250 needs to haul 12k into pasturduring shredding season. DT guy recommended KO3s. So this fall the oem wranglers will be gone!.

How did you tune a 2022? I have a 2022 and all I’ve found is replacing the stock ECM w/ a 2021. But even then, I heard their are issues with tuning the trans as well.

Get a loaded weight check the door for the gvwr rear it’s over that number on the rear axle that should tell ya what ya need to know

Once This truck comes in and you realize the truck is gonna be $95k and your gonna get $5000 less then you think for trade in you will back out just like you did on the ram 3500 you ordered lol.. all trucks are worth nothing right now and new GMs have barely any discounts cause of their new interior (this year in Hd’s)
