    Thank you for your content! You help me understand things better. There is not much information about the Bosch Connect Module, and I would like to figure it out. I would be grateful for your response. My question is: On the Bosch website, it was mentioned that the ConnectModule works with cellular communication. I didn't quite understand, if my bike is several kilometers away from me, will I not be able to see it on the map in my Flow app? Does this module require a SIM card?

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před 4 dny

      Hello, thank you for your comment. When your Kiox display has two switches, it is most likely the version for the previous Bosch generation (Bosch Gen 2). In this case, you could not use the LED Remote in the video because it is for the Bosch Smart System only. Please have a look at these two links: www.ebike24.com/bosch-display-kiox www.ebike24.com/bosch-kiox-300-smart-system-display If you have the display like in the first link, it is Bosch Gen 2 and not Smart System, unfortunately. Let me know if you have further questions! Cheers - Michael

The eBike Alarm Service is not automatically extended thereafter. If you wish to continue using it after twelve months, eBike Alarm costs €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year. Hope this helps! I have a speed pedelec and just bought the Smartphone grip. However, I cannot use it, as my bike has to have the display (kiox 500) on all the time (I didn’t know that…). I was thinking about buying the retro fit to then have both, Kiox and smartphone grip. Do you if that’s possible? That display Y cable would be the right one, in case that setup is possible? Thanks for the video and for the support!!

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před 6 dny

      Hi Ruben, thank you very much for your comment. I am afraid that the SmartphoneGrip is not compatible with S-Pedelecs. The manufacturer probably does not want S-Pedelecs to be modified, as this would all have to be documented. It may also be that it is not legally permitted to mount the mobile phone on the handlebar, such as with the SmartphoneGrip, as you are travelling very fast at 45 km/h. If I select the Performance Line Speed in the Bosch product combinations, the SmartphoneGrip is also displayed as incompatible (www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/productcombinations). I think the best thing to do here is to contact either your dealer or Bosch directly. Unfortunately, the legal situation for S-Pedelecs varies from country to country. Here in Germany, the laws are extremely strict, so Bosch probably has to comply with these laws. Cheers - Michael

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před 13 dny

      Hi, unfortunately, there is no way to enable the ports by yourself. The Bosch eBike diagnostic software is required for this and, as far as I know, it is only available to dealers. If you have any suitable equipment for the port, you can try to connect it to test if it works. This means it is already enabled. If it does not work, you would have to look for a dealer. I am sure that there are some who do it for free or for a small fee. It might be worth contacting multiple dealers. Hope this helps! Cheers - Michael

    • @ebike24

I cannot say for sure if the cover will still fit after the ConnectModule installation, as we do not stock any Gazelle bikes in our range. Hi, I am not familiar with HJM bikes. The connection depends on the display installed on the bike. Only a couple of displays have an port to connect a charging cable, so it might not work with your bike. Cheers - Michael

    Hi! Can I upgrade a 2020 Liv Intrigue E from the existing RideControl one to this or another display? Thanks

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před měsícem

      Hi and thank you for your comment! Yes, you can upgrade your bike to this EVO display or other Giant displays. It is only important to note that your bike is equipped with the G-System (ANT+) and not with the current "SG System". This means that you can use displays that are designed for the G-System, but not displays for the SG System. Hope this helps! You can also contact us under info@ebike24.com if you have further questions. Cheers - Michael

    I want to sell my bike, can i just remove the device when unlocked with my phone? The new owner does not want the product. So no i do not want to steal the bike. I am the owner and i can unlock it with the phone. So just uninstal it like i instal it? Or do i need to some specifics because i can not find a tutorial.

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před měsícem

      Hi, you should remove the ConnectModule in the Bosch eBike Flow app first and after that also remove your bike from the app. It is crucial to remove the ConnectModule in the app first, otherwise there might be an error message when the new owner tries connecting the bike with his Bosch account. Cheers - Michael

    The Purion 200 fastening on the handlebar is crap. The hinge is plastic like 1 mm thick. Mine broke and I have no idea how.

      Maybe had the wrong thickness rubber part in and over tightened it or it wasn't adjusteded enough to clear the top of the lever (sat on top slightly) and pulled down to much to pop the hinge! They are under warranty hopefully ypu get a replacement

    Hi there You demonstrated at the end of your video to use the power more on its own which yielded 13% and an approximate range 4km on tour+. Was this a fully charged powermore? You didn’t explain. I’m taking it’s that and the smart system can differentiate between the capacity of a powermore and a power tube? Am I correct in assuming the power tube main battery alongside the powermore. I think Bosch have said one isn’t prioritised over the other. In practice any issues with this? Thanks

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před měsícem

      Hi, and thank you for your comment! In our case, the PowerMore was only charged to 13%, as indicated in the Flow app. Since we removed the intube battery, it did not show up anymore in the app. So, this data was only from the PowerMore. If the intube battery and the PowerMore are connected, both batteries are used simultaneously. There is no prioritisation of the batteries. This protects the cells and ensures a longer service life for your batteries. So, my tip: if you are planning a longer tour, connect both batteries directly. Hope this helps! Cheers - Michael

    Hello sir I want to install the Kiox 300 and this mini remote instead of the purion 200. Can I just remove the purion 200, plug the cable into the kiox 300 and follow this video?

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před 2 měsíci

      Hello and thank you for your comment! In order to use the Mini Remote you also need the System Controller: www.ebike24.com/bosch-system-controller-smart-system . If this is not originally installed it is almost impossible to retrofit due to the missing recess in the top tube. However, you could combine the Purion 200 with the Kiox 300 (tutorial: czcams.com/video/jsKCrjyZjH4/video.htmlsi=-a2zxxCKcHwPxP6y). You could also remove the Purion 200 and install the LED Remote in combination with the Kiox 300. The LED Remote can also be used without the Kiox display: www.ebike24.com/bosch-smart-system-control-unit Cheers - Michael

      Hi Andrew, Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, you can use these two items for this exact purpose. However, you may want to check how much power your component needs beforehand. Hello Eric, Thank you for your comment. From what I found online your bike has the previous Bosch eBike System 2 installed and not the Smart System. Switching to the Smart System is unfortunately not possible. You mentioned the Kiox 300, which is the one in the video. Are you sure that you have installed the Kiox in the video, or rather this Kiox display from the eBike System 2: www.ebike24.com/bosch-display-kiox ? Cheers - Michael

    For whatever reason, there are absolutely no phone holders for the Intuvia 100 system. Bosch makes one for Kiox (at a steep price of 59 EUR) but there is nothing that I can just clip in for Intuvia. Do you maybe know of any phone holder mounts that fit the Intuvia 100 lock system?!? Thanks in advance!

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you for your comment! Well, if you want to replace the Intuvia with a phone holder and use your phone to control the e-bike, there is the SmartphoneGrip: www.ebike24.com/bosch-smartphonegrip-retrofit-set This works with any Bosch Smart System bike, not just the ones with an Intuvia display. As far as I know there is no possibility to mount a phone with the Intuvia holder. But if you would like to continue using the Intuvia and also your phone, there are various mounts from different manufacturers: www.ebike24.com/e-bike-smartphone-mount I hope this helps! You are also welcome to contact our customer service for any questions: info@ebike24.com Cheers - Michael

    So you have to buy another small, overly expensive battery to make this bike worth riding? Another POS ebike is built to be sold rather than built to be a good ride.

    How could you retrofit a Kiox on a SX motor bike with the top tube system controller unit and mini remote?

    • @ebike24
      @ebike24 Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you for your comment! There are two options for the Kiox retrofit. You could use the display cable, which currently connects your motor with the System Controller, and connect it directly with the Kiox display instead of the System Controller. You then need another, shorter display cable and connect the system controller (in other words: motor -> display cable -> Kiox -> display cable -> System Controller). The second option is the use of the Y-cable to connect System Controller and Kiox directly with the motor. The Y-cable is not available at the moment so I recommend using the first option 😉 Kiox 300 retrofit set: www.ebike24.com/bosch-kiox-300-e-bike-display-for-smart-system Bosch Y-Cable: www.ebike24.com/bosch-y-display-cable-system-controller Cheers - Michael
