"Argo Overture: Opus One " is the opening piece of my 2020 debut album "Argo", so it has a special place in my heart. So many images were in my head while composing this piece that I eventually decided to learn digital painting and animation, and recreate this imagery through a personally made music video.
What does the title mean? "Overture" is an introduction and sort of a teaser to a larger musical work. Here, it sets up the tone of the album, and touches on the imagery of each of the 12 album pieces. "Opus One" signifies that this piece is the first officially released composition in my life.
