As a kid I absolutely loved this show 😂

Now 68 and the Monkees' music easily takes me back to a great time in my life, learning to surf, becoming interested in girls, and of course watching the Monkees on TV. A different world back then. Found this on CZcams with my wife who is thirteen years my junior and their songs bring a smile to both our faces and we immediately go into sing-along sessions. Way cool for their time. Miss those days.

This is bring me back to wonderful era❤️. No cell phones, pagers, internet, real conversation with friends. Surfing, riding 10 speeds, out till the street lights come on. I feel so lucky to have lived in the 60, and 70s💙❤️.

I was born in 1960. Times were certainly different. I grew up in South Australia. I had 8 siblings and wonderful parents. I used to rush home from school to watch the Monkeys tv show. I just loved the music! Still very close to all my family and we often talk about those great times.

hands down, the 'baddest bogaloo' ever. (the dance davy is doing was called the boogaloo in case you don't remember.) only he did it better than everybody.

so much appeal, this song. davy jones was the greatest front man ever, and a natural showman. the t v show was silly and actually annoying, even for the sixties, but the hits kept on coming; often written by leading songwriters. after the popularity waned, they died, one at a time, broke. mickey dolenze, the only survivor is 79 and still working. looked like pure fun at one time, yet sad endings. record and t v companies made a bunch off of them, though. things are rarely as they appear.

Just heard this song in the background of a series I'm watching. Had to listen to it. I loved it when I was a kid. Loved watching the monkey's TV show re runs and it was before my time

I remember watching The Monkeys, they were good also 4 individual brought together to make a TV show. They were not in a band together at the time.
