Hi, thanks for the video. I plan to dig 5 inches of dirt 2 feet larger than the pool, compact dirt, lay weed barrier, put gravel + decomposed granite (road based II), level, compact, lay weed barrier, lay gorilla pad, then lay artificial grass. Then install round pool on top. Do you see any problem with this install? The grass will provide cushion and protect the liner. I will be installing “15 feet diameter buster crabbe aquasport 52”.

Hello and so grateful I ran into your video and your list of reviews!!! :)). My husband has talked of us gett A pool for years and now getting super serious about it…I told him we should sell our house and move if we really are going with a pool, an inground pool that is!! Here’s the thing we have a beautiful, gorgeous back yard that is approximately 3/4th acre but it tears downward and continues down into a beautiful wooded area until you reach a beautiful creek! There are a few retaining walls, like ,5 circle retaining walls…anyway by the time we cleared the 25 huge trees that would have to come down and build a retaining wall for an inground pool, we would be into at least 40,000 then have a 100,000. Pool installed to me is insane…we should just move if we have to have a pool, right? We are not rich and that pool would be huge deal for us and that makes me nervous!! So seeing all this about above ground pools being that dependable and last 30 yrs, you’ve made this not just a dream but way more doable!!!!! We are in Northern KY and wondering if you could by chance recommend someone in my area to call about planning????? Not many people around here have above ground pools so I never realized just how beautiful you can make them look w/ decking and all the other things that make a pool a comfy cozy oasis to chill, have fun, play and party setting!!! Now I’m getting excited!! Reality for me now so THANK YOU again!!! Please help if able?

Hey, great video - I've found both your website and your videos amazingly helpful. I wish there was someone local to me in WA that was like you!! Question for you, do the optimum panel wall, Oasis panel, and the Aquasport52 walls sway at all when in use? I believe the rolled wall pools do sway a bit when in use and I'm trying to avoid it so we can get that nice solid feeling when the kids are in there playing. Thank you!

So I built this pool some of the wallslats do not connect I also had some gasps in the wall so why would I have a gap after I have used all wall pieces

So I have the copper wire. My pool is in the ground. Is it ok that it is touching the steel in several points around the pool in a consistent run? I didn't have enough to go the entire way. But the pool is steel and it's all connected.

I did my install..went like this- butterfly gasket going OVER liner in a sandwich style. Interesting here how he doesn't include the liner on the INSIDE of the butterfly gasket. Will we ever have a official answer?

Ty for this. Now i have an intex soft sided metal xtr pool, and even though it is sided by the liner, we still have to bond it as per code. Question, are the over the side skimmers from intex, etc compatible with these bonding plates??? Very good video.

great advice for a universal pool liner Installation, just 2 tips though from someone who just spent 4 hours out in the blazing hot sun trying to put in a liner on my in-ground pool. 1: if the cutting of the outer liner isn't making it fit make sure it's torn to the very end where the lip starts off, it's an sob but I made easy work of it with a pair of scissors so don't be afraid to f that up . 2: make sure the lip you're putting the liner in is clean, I'm saying this because the way we dragged the old liner out was unconventional and got a little sand in the lip where the liner goes.

I have no idea what type of above ground pool liner I have. I know it's not a overhung and that's it. This is my first time replacing the pool liner in 15 years. When I had the pool professionally installed.

How do you bond an above ground resin pool? There is only one place and thats where the siding frame ties together and do not want to drill holes in siding, so there is no where to put the bonding lugs.

Do you service atkinson NH? Or can I buy off of you?
