An international delegation from the United Nations World Food Programme Regional Bureau Bangkok (RBB) countries undertook a ten-day study trip in June 2024 to learn about India’s experience running the world’s largest food safety nets.
Kirsi Junnila, Regional Head of Supply Chain, WFP Regional Bureau Bangkok, talks about utilization of simple yet effective solutions like GPS tracking and AI-enhanced CCTV for warehousing, etc by WFP India-familiar technologies which haven't been integrated yet into WFP, and the need to look more closely at what India has to offer.
