Is there something to be said for Drake's presence on Wah Gwan Delilah as a subliminal shot at, joke about, or some other form of commentary on Big Obvious Sample Rap? Like, honing in on the core purpose of that type of song (1. Trojan Horsing something new into something familiar; 2. the once-exciting friction between modern hip-hop and something either old or perceived as not at all hip-hop) and taking it to its least subtle, most heightened, silliest conclusion? I swear I'm not usually a Drake truther, but everyone seems so caught up in calling this stupid or having to defend it as a joke that I feel no one's reading what it's actually doing outside of that context.

It’s not fake. It’s the power of tik tok. I didn’t think anything of the song first time around, but with the dance and when the hook sinks in, it becomes a banger. I forgot about the song originally but through the memes, I looked it up, and had the “oh yea” moment. Now understanding music more, I see why it’s such a great remix-able track, and how powerful her hook is. The problem with 2010s Tinashe is that she was hard to sell for the labels. She’s not a sell out arenas kind of girl. She’s also not a powerful singer, and she was too sweet to sell as sexy (with black audiences), when so many female rappers were selling pornographic imagery.

The problem with J Christ versus Montero is that J Christ is a literal religious interpretation with zero story, whereas Montero created an imaginary world with religious implications that told an entire narrative of Lil Nas X’s life. J Christ talks about nothing but pushes Nas as Butch Queen Jesus, when Montero gave us a full story and showed lil nas X as an emerging visionary with religious inspiration. He tried to recreate the success of Montero with none of the heart and meaning and even more literal leaning on the imagery, but done worse.

16:28 as much as I love Houdini, not even that song can replace physical by Dua Lipa to me. Physical by Dua Lipa is literally like a perfect pop song!

9:58 it actually kind of is the worst idea, if you think about it. One Tinashe song has already been ruined by a problematic pop artist who wasn’t necessary for the song (see Player featuring Chris Brown). Drake and all of his antics are the last thing Tinashe needs!!!

Watching her speak, makes the listeners IQ drop. To have a warning, Julia fox speaks, does viewers a great service to keep scrolling. But I lament, many girls will find her smug, condescending, obnoxious, “personality” desirable, and this will repulse every man in her circle of influence. Ladies, be such, only if you want to die alone, this is not whom you should aspire to be, Godless, without virtue, alone and unhappy. I beg you, for those who have ears, let them hear.

The problem with the album is: it’s bland. It’s not bad. It’s not great. And it’s not memorable in any way. Once you’ve heard it, you’ll have forgotten it within 5 minutes. It sounds like a bunch of songs Madonna would have rejected when making an album 20 years ago. That being said, it’s much better than anything Taylor Swift has put out since 1989. (That wouldn’t be hard, I know.)

The slap mattered to some of us because it’s how people think they are entitled to things they aren’t and when they are put in place like they should be and deserve to be it matters. But I’m not here to judge u because comments are just here to voice opinions and everyone is entitled to theirs. As are replies. Money grabs are money grabs and yes I’m sure it’s good but respect for will smith and Jada for sure is gone and their entitlement and cannot be in touch with the everyday person or respect of is so far gone. I thought the movie was great! It’s was everything I want from a summer action blockbuster. Cool fights, fast cars, guns, comedy. As a fan of the franchise those far exceeded my expectations.

And in spite of being shocked by the slap people like Will. Some of us even forgot about it and have moved on and just don't care about it. I am planning to go watch the movie again just for the sheer no sense gun scenes and car chases, and yes lame story line and humour. Just cause I am tired of being told who I should or shouldn't support. He was banned from the Oscars that's good enough punishment can we just move on now. I don't even want Will to apologize anymore he has done enough of that. Jeez.
