Even though I left Takoradi some thirty years ago, am still in love with the city and always feels nostalgic watching videos like this.

A city is developed with private capital. Government cannot do all and everything for us. Roads, electricity, water and other social services like hospitals and schools are the responsibility of government, the rest should be left to the inhabitants to fill in the necessary gaps to beautify the city.

My sister, next time just do research before posting your content. The construction of the stadium started in 2006! The structure was structure was already there! What the government did was to refurbish it for the games!

Why didn't they use asphalt on the roads? There's going be a lot of potholes soon. I heard Borteyman is also going to be used as a Sports College.

For once there is a stadium in Ghana without the red, yellow and green colour.that is very good.All stadiums in Ghana is painted red, yellow and green.You can't differentiate them unless they mention the name of the stadium for you.civilization is hitting the brain of some of our leaders

Takoradi is indeed beautiful. It deserves more exposure than it gets from us Ghanaians. There are other cities like Sunyani, Koforidua and Cape Coast that are equally nice.
