@TreZ that okay. I found their video and they had a rog ally hooked up to it.

I did manage to get it working after a lot of trial and error. Unfortunately, I don't really remember exactly how I got it to work. You have to mess with the Input settings, under Quick Menu - Controls. Set Port 1 and Port 2 both to the same index, if I remember correctly. Then mess around with those settings a bit, you will probably figure it out. When you do, please share what the trick is because I honestly forgot! I wish I'd made a note about it. From a quick look, I have Port1 and Port2 on the same device index (in my case DragonRise USB controller). Port 1 select is Auto 10 (shift in my case), Port 1 Start is Auto 1 (Enter in my case). Port2 Start is Auto 10. Port2 Select is N/A (Off). Let me know if this helps!

@@TreZ - Oh. Let me be clear. It's not the last R360 ever in the entire world. But it's the last Sega R360 in an arcade in the whole world. The other surviving Sega R360s are in private collections, or in museums. So if you ever go back to Galloping Ghost, give it a try. It's basically a once in a lifetime thing.

Perhaps get its capacitors replaced with new ones, that should fix any errors with any old tech. Those dissipate and die over time which causes death of the tech or errors or things such as tape decks to lose their high end or low end and such over time as the capacitors wear out and die. Replacing those could restore it to its youth!

If you're just upgrading the stick, I don't think the one in this video will work. However, before this mod, I upgraded the stock stick with one of these, and it was a huge improvement. You can set the gate to be 4 or 8 way (recommend 4-way for Pacman, etc). This image only includes vertical games. However, you CAN do that with a different image, or if you set up your own.

I have all the machines plugged into a power strip, which is turned on/off with a smart switch.

I haven't done a PC mod, but I imagine it wouldn't be any more difficult, as long as you are able to set up the emulator to your liking

@@TreZ any USB plug you use no matter what it is a cell phone charger 5v dc not 12v dc you need 12vdc for your coin door and the marquee and video driver i have all the 12v dc run off a 12v switching power supply i also deal with DIY know Shane if i was you i would use a 12v switching power supply and use the +5v for your raspberry pi and 12v for everything 12v remember the power supply is Yellow is 12v and Red is 5v that is how jamma is but i know you not using jamma.

If you're going to mod it, that's really just a question of which one you prefer the look of. XL is harder to take apart and reassemble. But if you're going to mod yours, you'll end up replacing the stick and games, so it's up to you

If I had known that, I would have done it! But, I'm happy with it as it is. I have plans to mod my TRON machine next - I might bug you with some questions about the power/volume switches when I start that project, if you don't mind :)

Not that I am aware of… I would think there would be a way to do that, especially for the power switch, but I haven’t seen anyone do it.

Also I should mention it didn't cost me very much more like an extra five or $10 to get legit happ parts it was definitely worth it

I don't think there's a link on their site, yet. But just contact them and tell them you want the new Steam Deck cabinet and they will know what you mean. This WAS a custom job! They are very friendly and helpful. I told them I basically wanted the Nintendo Switch cabinet, but with a flat top so I could mount the Steam Doc. They did a great job - this is exactly what I wanted!

@@TreZthanks! Just saw you answered earlier to other commenters. Last year, I got their 24” tabletop offering. I had to do some things to get it to my liking, but overall it’s a good cab. Only real gripe is it’s not the best for your hands. You’re basically gripping the side panels, and your hands start to hurt if you’re pushing on them too much. But yours looks like it’s a little more flush with the plexiglass. Would you say it’s comfortable to play on?

It doesn't come with games. You will need to use Baller Installer, Pinup Popper, and Visual Pinball X to add games. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once it clicks, it's pretty simple!

@RyKnocks I just did a quick FPS test on Mars Attacks, Medieval Madness, and Judge Dredd. I'm averaging around 57 FPS. Not bad at all!

Solenoids are not working in this phase. BUT! I found that there are solenoids that you can hook directly to the buttons, so there's no software involved in making them work. I intend to add them in Phase 2. Stay tuned!

Yes, I had to remove the casing. It's not easy, but you only have to do it once!
