Hello I use the Thunderbolt cable connected to the mac mini M1 and I keep the HDMI output for secondary TV screen, I have problems waking up with the Asus PA27ac screen in Thunderbolt, do you have a solution? thank you I want to keep the Thunderbolt cable between the mac mini and the Asus screen have to press a button on the asus screen to wake it up, I have a mac mini M1, Monterey 12.3.1 Thanks in advance , best regard

I think this could've been a better video if you had given reason why folks who edit on MacBooks, iMac's or PC's etc may want to switch to a properly calibrated display. This videos screams paid promotion and unfortunately the viewers may fall for this because they don't have a background in the color world. Anyone curious should take a look at commonly used colourspaces, then compare with the colourspace your display is set to. For example, a recent issue Macbook or iMac may use a display that has a P3 colorspace (same for iPhone I think), which has a much larger gamut (spectrum of color) than sRGB, which is the typical format for most consumer level digital imaging.. This will make images look great on the mac, but very different on other devices let alone for print, as P3 is not a very common format for this medium.

vs ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV which is better ?

Great video, but if you are in search for a display, especially when you are trying to improve quality of pictures you sell, get the Apple Pro Display XDR and you will never again say that a ASUS monitor is great.

Yes dude :D softproofing is the best thing, gotten into printing my images more and im blown away by the results , if you use permajet or fotospeed papers do send them a color balance sheet back and they will send you a color profile for that paper for your printer its awesome and i get accurate results every-time, loving the new studio space too , only criticism really is the audio in this video is a little echoey maybe thats just me and my ears

Great Review Steve, looks like a great monitor and those colour look damn good especially for the price. However just because you have this monitor isn't going to mean your colours are perfect on everyones displays like you kinda suggested. I can get that a monitor is colour calibrated out the box and that makes huge sense when it comes to print work, at the same time great for seeing what people with colour calibrated devices like the latest phones and tablets and laptops are going to see - but colour calibration then fails - my girlfriend with her old Asus laptop or my clients with their rubbish old computers in their businesses are going to see it in a completely different colour spectrum, and of course it will look alright but just because you've made/editied it on this monitor isn't going to make the blindest bit of difference.
