The Holley Computers came in for both the Jet Boat and the Camaro. The Jet Boat LS Engine REVED OVER 4,000 RPMS!!! The Jet Boat finally went in the water and ran! FIRST TIME SINCE THE 90s!

Pulled the engine of the Jet Boat and put the PTO drive in the back so its coupled with the Jet Drive. Was hoping to be close to finishing today but that became not the case. Another puzzle to now solve!

I dont understand.. the axle is way shorter than the 10 bolt. Am i missing somrthing here?
Ive always wanted to do this. Had my 99' camaro since 2004. I've only ever had to do a brake job 1 time but I've had 6 different junk yard 10 bolts. lol but at $200-$300 bucks I'm still ahead of the guys who paid the $2500 But them 10 bolts are thinning out. How much did the bracket cost?

I think that's the first time I've ever seen mufflers on a jet boat. How long did they last before they broke off?
Holy smokes.. hope your doing okay 11 months later. I just happened to stumble on the video before this one. And I said to myself I hope he knows when there's no gas there's no steering. It probably could have been a lot worse I'm sure. Best of luck 👍
I want to build this eaxct combo in a boat im wondering how you go about tuning ive done quite a bit of LS tuning on cars and trucks but not sure what to do on a marine application
Conservative timing from another tune and keep air fuel ratios in check
@@drivewayparty4318 so did you find you had to pull alot of timing and lean it out quite a bit? Id imagine there way less load than a car so probably requires less fuel

Not sure, but I know if I leave iron outside in the rain it rusts faster than aluminum

why would you run the tail pipes like that that is so WOW no words for it look like shit and you are the first to put mufflers on a jet boat or any boat have you ever owned a boat before or a rubber duck cant wait intill you take it out lol

Seal the exuast with 3m 5200 marine sealant your leak will be fixed trust me I'm a waterman been on boat's all my life and have built boat's
I have the exact same kind of jet pump the 12JE which I don't know how to fiberglass so I haven't been able to put in an engine. Any tips? Or if you know of anyone that wants to trade for a jet pump that has a transom on it I'am willing to trade.

Dude what's with the goofy car mufflers all you got to do is get headers and flipem and run them out the back Tru afro engineering
I was trying to keep it quiet so I could here and internal engine noises and once I knew everything work, I could take them off and it would be fun to see a speed increase
Your wife needs to learn how to notice stuff ...it's spraying water out of the back and the carpet looks like bit on exhaust and she just looks at both like 10 times and says nothing
Did you just mount the engine onto the fiberglass itself or did you use special brackets?
Mounted with thru bolts to the stringers. If I could do it again I would put a plate on both sides of the stringers to keep the bolt from pulling thru
