Only Sondra Radvanovsky can be close to that filato (and I think she never recorded Poveri fiori)Netrebko sings Adriana,but far from reaching this filato. What a time of emptyness...

Magda Olivero totally outshines most modern singers, she basically eats them for breakfast. But let's be real, she's not quite in the same league as Callas or Tebaldi. Personally, I've never been a fan of her caprino, and her chest voice was weak and undeveloped. When it comes to the role of Adriana, I'd pick Muzio or Tassinari any day - they were just fabulous.

I love the four language versions of that song. The musical artist and the one expresing it in words is amazing. They all put a whole lot of their emotions on the song. It gives the impression they are carrying a conversation. I adore latin music in those four beautiful lan guages that the original Italian song was translated.❤😊
