I graduated from ESM 12 years ago. My experience was identical to yours...except it looks like the food and cafeteria in the dorm is WAY better than when I was there. Good! Keep up the hard work but don't forget to chill sometimes, it's just as important to the learning process. "I can't think anymore and I'm cold" = the ESM experience in a nutshell hahaha

I’m in music school too and I related so much to this! I think it’s really important to remember that we’re not alone in questioning the music career path as it can be a bit of an unpredictable and ruthless one 💁‍♀️😅, I think nearly every musician does at some point, whether or not we express it, so it’s okay to feel a certain way about it 💕 we all do what we love, so we’re on the right path. ❤️ lots of love and support from one musician to another! And thanks for the video :}

Okay why does this make me so hyped to want to go to Eastman?

i am not a music major, i'm majoring in fine arts ! but this was just really nice to listen to people from different backgrounds and experiences and how they deal with stuff surrounding their studies and stress and just life in general. and i found myself relating to a lot of the things you talked about, especially because of the stigma that usually surrounds music and art majors. i really liked it, this video was calming and made me wheeze a couple of (un)healthy times, so thank you for spending the time and energy in answering this and then editing it and all ! i geniunely appreciate every minute of the work you put into it !!

pls i kinda want to get a music degree as i want to be in a band but i’m worried as i have not had any practice in instruments and me thinking i may not be able to in a band makes me like ahhhhhh cuz if i don’t get fame or anything it stresses me out , but maybe i’ll get practice later on as i’m only a minor but i don’t know any tips?
