I feel blessed to have gotten to see so much of the world and delve deeper into a handful of cultures. My dating life is a mess though haha. I'm past my mid 40's and I felt this way 20 years ago lol. I'm also asian-american and there's just something very cold and intrinsically inhuman about what the way American society operates in most of the big cities. I also got tired of feeling like U.S. culture and society constantly shits on the most productive people. I took my skillset and money abroad and never looked back. I am happy as hell basing out of SEA and traveling around the world. Life could not be sweeter and I have a kid as well. I feel like the world literally is my oyster and all I had to do was recognize that.

I 100% agree with you. Most of the people pitching the DN life have a financial incentive to do so. It is fun for a year or two max but then you realize that what's important in life are the connections and relationships that you have in your life. And being a DN makes it nearly impossible to build any meaningful relationship with people. I am looking to settle down and leaving this DN life forever.

I do have to get a plan in place and make sure I have plan B going for me. I know not everyone will agree with my decisions of moving but I don´t care at this point and that´s okay. We're stuck in a connandrum: By being with a foreign lady in her country and not being able to communicate and having this huge culture shock , there is also much fewer disputes and arguments. If a man has a strong libido, he will sacrifice communication for physical needs. Talks will be only with buddies from the west living abroad like him. How many times were you having sex with this lady from UK. If once every 2 weeks, there you have it...she was your buddy, not your gf. Western guys crave for sex because of the scarcity in their country. The catch-22 goes deeper : the more one converse with a female, the more sophisticated , charming, intelligent, funny one must be to get in bed with her. 10 years in Asia has taught me this. So there's some dichotomies here. You have a very strong work ethic so ultimately you could have done very well in the USA (financially). Also, your views of being socially conservative but economically liberal are all but dead politically in the USA. That used to exist in the USA before deindustrialization. But the decline of unions (which went with deindustrialization) means they don't back candidates who back their views anymore and thus there are very few politicians in the USA who would agree with your views. I personally don' adhere to your views, but I'm one of those who believe that diversity of viewpoints and compromise is good. Unfortunately, I'm also a dinosaur politically.

Def the right call not going back to the ex-wife. It'd be another disaster. I lived in the Philippines for five years, and traveled through Thailand, but based out of Colombia since after the pandemic. If you do go back to Colombia, then consider Bucaramanga or Baranquilla. Medellin has become a no go in my book unless you have a very good personal reason. Good vids!

Its funny how most of the successful people that i know in the US, is people that migrated to the US 30 years ago or second or third generation, unfortunately TODAY is very complicated to make a life at the US...

Yet people are still willing to sell all they own to get to the US, No need to hate America, when all that you have is due to America. Without the American Empire, you would not have the freedom that you have to live in other countries. So, the freedom that you experience in other countries is not because of the countries but because of the exchange rates that the US empire provides to you, all those wars and bullying have given you what you have, unless you start working local jobs and living in the local economy you can not be a true judge of the lives of the actual citizen of the countries you get to live in due to your American privilege.

Cebu is developing,as is the entire country. They are definitely playing catch-up with their SE asian neighbors. As an American, i will say the vibe in the PEENS is very chill. Cebu City is definitely up and coming . Quite a bit of foreign investment. We have a house 35 minutes out of Cebu city in the mountains, and it is absolutely beautiful. Cheers!

You're not serious right? 90% of those wanting to move there are people from third world countries and under develloped countries AND who are on the same continent as they just go where it's more convenient for them on geographic standpoint and where they think, often wrongly, they'll have a better life (USA and Canada) compared to their home countries. The vast majority of people from first world countries/devellopped countries (especially from Europe) have absolutely no desire to ever move to USA, it's just a third world country disguised as a first world country to us and has nothing good to offer us besides the entertainment industry that we can access from anywhere in the world anyway and a few natural wild spaces i nthe west. As for myself, I'm from Europe and USA would probably not even be in my first Top 30 countries (including some under developped countries) I'd move to, it's a shithole there for many of us Europeans.

It's because we have a very large Far East Asian community here - Vietnamese, Laotian, etc. And those ppl are extremely included in their own world (sauce). But Poles - at least tolerate them - but I'd move further to the saying we like them! They're quiet, not bother anyone, they work hard for their living. I do really like Asian people! I love their food, I love thieir shops and stalls, I love their culture, I ... do just like them!
