A lot of these mooar owners wonder why they break all the time but what other car do you know that you can get 700+ hp for under $100k? It's because they build them so cheap. Why you would even want one? I dunno. Just build a car and you'll save some money.

I like the trackhawks and all but that CF8 transmission is junk I don't care what you do to it you could do what they say bulletproof it and sarcastically speaking it wouldn't even be jail gunproof If there is a way and a transmission controller out there to use and if it would fit which I'm sure it's all doable but probably expensive a 10 or 80 built by midnight or one of the other four that I can't remember off the top of my head that building very very well would be the thing to go your truck would probably run or your trackhawk would probably run in the low to midnight if you had a 10 or 80 that was built trust me I've been there done that. It was very expensive but I think third year the hellcats came out a buddy of mine had an engine fully built a whipple put on it and he had a bell housing adapter made for a 10 or 80 to go in He had a transcontroller made that thing cost him like $1,800 and then a fab shop while we fabbed it we cut the trans tunnel he needed a different drive shaft but I was pretty much it yeah it was expensive but that car hauled ass so if you got the money it's an option Good luck buddy and I love your track hawk by the way.

Here’s my opinion for those who may know more or less than me. The Hellcat motor, like many Dodge/MOPAR creations was/is an afterthought. They created a massive engine that creates great power, however sustainability was not a priority. The cooling system is trash and therefore these engines/vehicles are more “Show Off” pieces than “Driver’s Cars”.

Just some advice to help other racers and yourself. When you're doing a pass and something goes wrong.... Stop immediately and pull over. Although you didn't have a leak if you did you would have just spread it halfway down the track.

Bro, it would have happened no matter what. It's built like a mo fo, the more you push it to it's limits and get the optimum performance the more it's likely to have a failure. During one of the runs you had the most perfect and beautiful 1st thru 3rd shifts that I have ever seen!

Never fails on Dodge's. Transmissions seems to be junk. All I have outside my shop or these Dodge's. 3 TrackHawks Transmission issues only 53k miles on 1 other 2 close to 50k miles. Challengers I have are all between 46k to 71k miles on them. 7 of them. I have 11 Chargers same issue. Transmissions all of them. Crazy. Was been Chevy keeping us in business. Now it's Dodges. Hardly see Ford's but when we do always around 200k miles or more. I will keep knocking on wood on Ford's. Back in the Day Foxbody's the Transmissions didn't hold up at 1st on the 4.6s. From 95 to 2004s.
