That's why I made this video - to help you test yourself by recognizing sounds made by my 200-year-old cello.
Do you have perfect pitch or relative pitch? How can you find out, and what do these terms even mean? Each kind of pitch recognition has its own advantages. For instance, what is the main advantage of having perfect pitch? And how does relative pitch offer more flexibility, especially when playing with a piano that’s tuned higher or lower than expected?
